Out of that number 60,000 were killed, 155,000 were wounded in action and 4,000 were captured in just three short years, but the Aussies captured over 29,000 German troops and well above 40,000 Turkish troops. More Aussies were KIA than Yank troops in WW1.

The Russians defeated those German armies. The US won WW1 not through fighting, but the German knowledge of the weight of US numbers that had become available to the Entente. The US deserves credit for victory in the Pacific, but had Japan tried they would never have taken Oz, US or no.

Japan would have decimated OZ if it had come to an invasion, it was clear that early war Jap aircraft and tactics would wipe out anything the British led forces like OZ had. So yes they would have taken Oz quite easily since they would only have to attack the coast where your major pop centres are.

Excluding the M240 the rest of that gear is only avaliable to USSOCOM.

There are still over 1,500 Aussie troops operating in Kandahar, Oruzgan and Helmand Province, and they will stay until 2014 unless the US pulls out sooner.

At 50m, i still could not hit dead centre, it's not like a game, where if you aim at a place and pull the trigger, the bullet ends up there exactly, there are factors such as wind as well as the movement of the gun when you pull the trigger, if you pull it too hard, the whole gun moves causing inaccuracy, you have to pull the trigger slowly, but even then, it's still hard to aim with sway and all.
@Scyeth ive also fired a .22 rifle, 223, 303, 12 semi auto and pump action rifles, i grew up on a farm and have hunted animals since i was 12, i am now 23, so i am aware of how to use a gun. i also kmow how to use stealth and scouting for animals if that means anything, so yeah i know that playing a game is not the same as the real thing, ii just believe that i could apply the same skills that i use in a game to reality. only diffrence is that when i get killed i cant respawn which is fine.
@ShakaSamurai you should say 'some' skills, not all. You should know how different real life is compared to a game, since there are also psychological factors such as fear and stress as well. Also strategies such as 'camping' wouldn't be as effective in real life as it would be in game.

The Russians defeated those German armies. The US won WW1 not through fighting, but the German knowledge of the weight of US numbers that had become available to the Entente. The US deserves credit for victory in the Pacific, but had Japan tried they would never have taken Oz, US or no.

But once you've finished compare their gear, support weapons and small arms and get back to me. (I'll get you started, 2RAR are issued the HK417 EBR, M3 MAAWS, Mk48 Minimi & MAG-58 (M240B+). Excluding the M240 the rest of that gear is only avaliable to USSOCOM.

There are still over 1,500 Aussie troops operating in Kandahar, Oruzgan and Helmand Province, and they will stay until 2014 unless the US pulls out sooner.

At 50m, i still could not hit dead centre, it's not like a game, where if you aim at a place and pull the trigger, the bullet ends up there exactly, there are factors such as wind as well as the movement of the gun when you pull the trigger, if you pull it too hard, the whole gun moves causing inaccuracy, you have to pull the trigger slowly, but even then, it's still hard to aim with sway and all.

@Scyeth ive also fired a .22 rifle, 223, 303, 12 semi auto and pump action rifles, i grew up on a farm and have hunted animals since i was 12, i am now 23, so i am aware of how to use a gun. i also kmow how to use stealth and scouting for animals if that means anything, so yeah i know that playing a game is not the same as the real thing, ii just believe that i could apply the same skills that i use in a game to reality. only diffrence is that when i get killed i cant respawn which is fine.
