I have seen NIN ten times since 1994...I love Trent but, I`m starting to hear so many similar trends in his songs. It reminds me of the Deftones or that D-bag Dave Grohl. They have a certain profile and don`t do much outside of that familiar envelope. Nothing since the Downward Spiral or Fragile has been better or more creative. The same pitch, high and low points. I want to hear this music evolve.....the songs are just new lyrics mixed with the old familiar style. Trent used to do it all!!!!!!

Does anybody else see this as a response to the Beetles song "All You Need is Love"? I know it has more of a meaning than just that but it just sounds that way to me.
I started listening to nine inch nails in fifth grade with The Downward Spiral and then Broken; Pretty Hate Machine. The Fragile wasn't bad, just not to my liking like Trent said it may be for many fans. With Teeth in my opinion is the best post Downward Spiral album. The insrumentation (though Dave Grohl is awesome) isn't nearly as good as the albums I mentioned that I liked, but the song writing is top notch which gives this album a a mandatory space in my car's case logic. Nice album Trent.
the drums are not sinceres, very nice voice but very bad surroundings and candy guitars (but) where a grunge devastated sound was needed to be. Good Industrial Product but not excellence. 9/10. no shit but not gold.

Being a NIИ fan for years, I've seen fans come & go. Especially with the last 2 albums, "Ghosts" & "The Slip". It just goes to show, NIИ isn't for everyone. Especially those who are used to one trick pony bands.
