I would just test the DVDs to see if they still play. Like, I bought a bootleg Sailor Moon box set a long time ago from ebay, and I do not trust ebay no more, too many fakes out there; plus it was not Region 1 and did not work on my BluRay player. So I told my friend I gave them away, but I wouldn't say anything. You could report them, but yeah, I would just maybe try to clean the DVDs, if not, you can trade em in to places like FYE etc. They take any used stuff.

This is why I hardly ever buy DVDs over the internet. I'm the type of guy who when he buys a DVD in person always holds it up to his ear, shakes it, just to make sure the disc is not loose. This video was made in July and hear it is November, but if the discs play fine I would have kept it. However, I would never again buy from this company no matter how good of a deal.
That same thing happened to me when I bought my star wars boxset. I paid 60 bucks for it and it was in the same condition yours is in. You paid money for that. Send it back and get your money.

It is the result of ignorant shipping, if you ship a set like that in a thin plastic bag with no protection this is the result. Several other youtubers purchased the set from the same company and had the same issue or worse. This is not a good company at all.

that is pretty damaged but on full moon direct the offical website of full moon and puppetmaster it goes for 100.00 dollers so it might be pretty hard to find that boxset it is not sold in stores so i suggest you should keep it untill you see another good conditon one with a good price and then sale the crappy one on ebay
You might try emailing Full Moon - ask to see if you can buy just a outer slip box from them cheap. That would definitely help the outer appearance of the box set. Might not be something Full Moon will do, but it might be worth a shot. Plead your case to them as a hardcore fan. Just a thought. P.S. - I agree with you, I am picky on my sets too. Other than that thought, I'd say return it.
I had the same problem with Walmart when I ordered the Supernatural sets. They sent everyone one in that crappy plastic & mine looked like that when I opened them up. I had a couple lose dvd's & on my first season I have one disc that will not play & it is my favorite : ( .. , but Walmart won't replace or refund. Yeah, your definitely not being picky.. that box was butchered.

More advice... I order most of my horror dvds through Amazon. They box things good usually but still orders will come with lose discs or dented dvd sets from time to time. I return every single one and they pay for all the shipping and ship another out everytime. Deal with Amazon and if something is damaged return it and keep returning until you get what you paid for and thats NEW. Heck Jay if you don't return that PM set I'll have to send Blade after you. lol Remember Full Moon sale too!

I got that box set too, from the same place. mine was pretty crappy as well. My dvds were fine and play ok. No scratches.... but my box looks like someone had fun with a knife. there were slices on the front. didn't feel like making a huge deal about it, the dvds worked fine. so i didn't return it. Yours seem like they were in worse condition.I dont think it was the packaging. I think they sent it to us that way. Cuz the box mine was shipped in wasn't beat up....idk

It almost looks like the wear and tear and indention's are part of the box sets style and design, but i guess that's not supposed to be the case. You should send it back with a note telling them to sit on it.
i would say keep it especially since its such a hassle to send it back and then have to wait for it again but it was probably expensive and it is pretty beat up so i say send it back!! besides its your money and you dont want something in crappy condition.

That boxset is a disgrace you should send it back and get a full refund also make sure you get a refund on what you pay on the postage as well..Don't settle for anything less my friend..

yeah all the disc loose and the box is destroyed i could see if one disc was rattling and a corner or a tiny rip but this is pretty bad, i guess it all depends on how much you paid for it.
I agree about the bad condition of the set and the HORRIBLE packaging. If I were you, however, I would check the discs to see if they work. yes the4n go watch harpers island! its the BEST show ever 25 people getting picked off 1 by 1 and they dont know it till the 6th murder and it has the SADDEST death scene youll ever see! its a murder mystery! but its REALLY hard to find the box set atleast it is around my area ive been looking for the past 3 months

was in sold as new.. i have recieved stuff second hand in simular condition where the price wasnt to bad. i did recieve an item once brand new but was destroyed when i recieved it i took pictures of it and of the packaging, emailed them to the seller and asked for a replacment.... i got a full refund and another set i ordered which came in better packaging and they even let me keep the damaged one... thats what 1daysale should be doing for you..

I got that box set too, from the same place. mine was pretty crappy as well. My dvds were fine and play ok. No scratches.... but my box looks like someone had fun with a knife. there were slices on the front. didn't feel like making a huge deal about it, the dvds worked fine. so i didn't return it. Yours seem like they were in worse condition.I dont think it was the packaging. I think they sent it to us that way. Cuz the box mine was shipped in wasn't beat up....idk

Yours came in a box? I know another youtuber on here messaged me saying they got it from the same site and it came in the same plastic bag mine did, I think his discs were all loose and scratched too like mine.
That site sucks! They couldnt even tell me if they had any in stock for a replacement! Poor customer service!

It almost looks like the wear and tear and indention's are part of the box sets style and design, but i guess that's not supposed to be the case. You should send it back with a note telling them to sit on it.

i would say keep it especially since its such a hassle to send it back and then have to wait for it again but it was probably expensive and it is pretty beat up so i say send it back!! besides its your money and you dont want something in crappy condition.

Hello, Jay.. I really think that this boxset is in a horrible condition for a brand new item, so in my opinion you should return it.. I would never keep an item like this.. Anyways, I don't think a replacement is a good idea if they not assure you a better protection to the edition at this time.. I mean, there's no point on get this on a plastic bag again! I hear ya on the condition and shipping which is bullshit, i 100% agree with you on that but these box sets are harder and harder to find and plus if you find one to buy it prolly goes for highway robbery price... yeah all the disc loose and the box is destroyed i could see if one disc was rattling and a corner or a tiny rip but this is pretty bad, i guess it all depends on how much you paid for it.

I agree about the bad condition of the set and the HORRIBLE packaging. If I were you, however, I would check the discs to see if they work. If at least ONE doesn't work, send the whole set back for a replacement. I'm sorry you received a box set in crappy condition. I wish you the best in this, my friend. P.S. yes the4n go watch harpers island! its the BEST show ever 25 people getting picked off 1 by 1 and they dont know it till the 6th murder and it has the SADDEST death scene youll ever see! its a murder mystery! but its REALLY hard to find the box set atleast it is around my area ive been looking for the past 3 months

Mmhhh... Okay, the "Puppet Master" movies are pretty cool. But the way this box looks right now is absolutely horrible! I mean, you can´t send such boxes in a cheap and thin packaging... In your place I would send them back. That´s really a no-go! :-(

was in sold as new.. i have recieved stuff second hand in simular condition where the price wasnt to bad. i did recieve an item once brand new but was destroyed when i recieved it i took pictures of it and of the packaging, emailed them to the seller and asked for a replacment.... i got a full refund and another set i ordered which came in better packaging and they even let me keep the damaged one... thats what 1daysale should be doing for you..

The disks may not play well either and who knows if u ask them to send another ( that's if they even have one left) it may be in worse condition. Hey man I had a similar experience with the Friday the 13th Boxset I ordered from deepdiscount it came beat up and a piece ripped it's upsetting when you spend money and don't get something in good condition in my opinion I would see if they could get me a replacement if not I would look for it somewhere else take care man and good luck
