I just had the same feeling like you, there was a smal "laag" in the input. Then I turned my LCD TV into "Game" mode. The picture became a bit more blury, but the reactions where a bit better. Still not like in the old days, but better.

I know what you mean about tightness of movement. I had the same problem with Mario 64 DS. YOU NEED TO STOP WHEN I LET GO OF THE BUTTON!!!
