its good in the technical sense. but theres just not much feeling to it and you rushed it a bit, especially with the hammer ons in the beginning. lots of potential tho. if you work at it im sure you'll get it :D

@henry14000 i started playing bass in april of 2005 and this video was recorded 2 years ago. im self taught and i only play by ear,and watching tutorials in youtube really helped me a lot.i still consider my self a rookie in playing bass,i still have so much to learn =) thanks for watching my video.

@CptChaos88 thanks, im using the double pluck with my index and middle fingers. i pluck the g string with my middle finger and index finger on the d string...you could also do it on the g string only but i prefer to use it on the g and d strings to produce a slightly different tone.ill try to make a video and explain the technique. =)

Hi. What a cool response. You are quite balanced and open to say that, and I'm so glad you didn't take my comment as hostile.

I've seen so many talented folks like you get caught-up copying licks and songs of other artists. It's not a bad thing, but you have to stay aware of when it becomes "robotic" and dry.

Put the funk into each performance, or they aren't worth doing. It's a challenge, but it will be your art when it comes out that way, and not a copy of someone else's.
