Nothing wrong with the intro at all, it's just that the bass sounds slightly out of tune or it's being played in a different key. Besides, Jay isn't actually a bassist, it's just how Kasabian did things at the time. Karloff left (who played the intro initially) and Chris Edwards took over bass duties.

@andreas8larsen Dumb ass u aint no kasabian fan. that isnt the bassist. the actual bassist Chris is on lead for this song because the original guitarist made the bass riff and the bassist made the guitar parts. so they swapped places for this song. NOTE: THE GUY ON BASS ISNT THE ORIGINAL LEAD GUITARIST KARLOFF EITHER. KARLOFF WAS KICKED FROM THE BAND THIS IS JAY MEHLER THE NEW LEAD GUITARIST.
