Doom was one of the very first games that allowed you to kill anything that moved and had demonic imagery. I was 6 years old, didn't understand any of it and I loved it! I torrented and played it again last year and I loved it even more.
Original, hellish, warlike....the right kind of music for a level when hordes come after you, the walls are made of moving spine bones, leather and other weird stuff.
Where is Robert Prince now ? I like his music. You know I still play this game. I plow thru the game in 3 hours. Too bad the movie stunk, could have been a winner, I guess the producers, writer and director wanted a horror show instead of a thriller.
Haha excellent intro music, super suspensful(if that's a word :P). Gawd I don't remember what map it was on, but the music that came on at the startup screen of Final Doom on the autorun. That's my favourite. Oldskool Demon or something? I can't remember:P Na na na na, naaa, naaa
Oh, that level. I remember it taking my brothers literally weeks to figure out how to find the exit. During the finish screen it stated the time as "N/A", hahaha.
This, along with Icon of Sin, are the most creepy tracks that when combined with their otherworldly level aesthetics, makes you feel as you now belong to Hell.
love the trap u get lured into in this level! walk into the room, go towards the switch, b4 u press it the door shuts behind u and the lights go out and u r surrounded by cacodemons!
It actully Bobby Prince who wrote the soundtrack for Doom and Doom 2 but I don't know if he composed TNT: Evilution he might have done.
This is almost simliar to the Original MIDI version and if you want that version type in Google Doom Midi files and Switch File Sound Converter, it converts many files to MIDI to MP3 or WMA etc.
they should have used some of this stuff in a doom movie. (the one with 'the rock' doesn't count, if you make a movie about a game/book stick to the fucking plotline)It needs to some scary shit, r18, i eman it's hell after all :P
I also thought that the "Monster Condo" level 27 soundtrack was wickedly sinister, perhaps even more than Spirit World. It's that eerie, frightening Gothic style that's hair-raising. Also on a few other levels.

First time I heard this on a Creative AWE 32bit with full MIDI in a dark room ...11 years old .... still gives me shivers and fond memories !!
Both Bobby Prince and Trent Reznor had input and tribute goes to both of them

Back in the day when it was basically necessary, I always set my WADs to MAP28 for the epic music.
One of the best games ever for so many reasons.

If I had to pick 1 song for every level it would be Refueling bases' song, or MAP7's.
Those are two AWESOME songs.
