I think it was the summer of 1982 when the grocery store down the street form my house had a gleaming new baby blue Donkey Kong game. At 10 I would never come close to a record score and im pretty sure I was only getting close to 100,000 but never reached it. Having none of our own money, me and my brother managed to wipe out mom's 5 gallon water cooler bottle of pennies and must have drove the cashiers nuts with "can I have a case quarter" every 5 minutes for the entire summer with all pennies.
