Fuck NAT, it freaking ruinned xbox live. I cant even fucking create a freemode GTA4 server without randomly disconnecting... And I know it's NAT, my xbox said it when I connected. And can't even speak to half of my friends without having a "Unable to connect to group" notice. I got my ass filled up with this NAT shit. And I wish this system will disappear as suddenly as it appeared.

@raxater type this into your browser: 192.168.0.1 or then it's 192.168.1.1 the pw will be either admin or nothing and the user will be admin or nothing unless someone has changed the user and pw, in wich case you need to ask the person who changed it. then all you need to do is find UPnP and enable it. on my router (cisco) it's in the administration tab. tell me if your NAT is still strict.

Correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm behind a router, and my ip address is 192.168.1.2, and I wanted to connect to youtube it would send out the request(packets) from my router IP though my ISP, and when I get a response from youtube, it comes back to my ISP IP address, and then the NAT works out which computer behind the router sent that request in the first place and sends it to the correct router IP address?
