I know as a bassist I am biased, but considering what I know as one, I'd say he's the best here in this song. Tapping is not an everyday technique on bass, and it takes immense skill to do. Though I think the pianist is very quite good aswell!

The felloe responsible for the mixing ad production of this vid's name is Mark Estes, a bassist, himself. He operates Hawk Studio in Wilkes Barre, PA This is not his first venture. In your "search mode", put in either "EMP Project" or "Hawk Studio". I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Especially knowing that NONE of these artists have met face to face and are from all over the world. EMP Project has a version of Wizards in Winter posted. Mark did a masterful job putting this vid together.

Yeah, what I played on the bass for this contest was nothing compared to the winner. I focused so much on being in the pocket and just playing the bassline "as is" (the only creative thing I did was go down an octave on my 5-string instead of what the music called for...whoopty do...) that I didn't even think about getting creative. The guys who won truly deserved it. Psyched for the TSO show this year!

Just a piece of trivia here, to illustrate the caliber of persons involved: Dave Presley, the keyboardist, got wind that his local High School, in Cape Coral FL, desired to impliment a new musical program but funding was just about non-exisrnt. Upon winniing the contest, Dave presented the High School Music Dept. with the keyboard that he had just won accompanied by $2000.00 check to get them up and running. How's THAT for class!
