Yep, it is gross and you wonder why they close the beaches at times and act ignorant why its happening, I did hear they are going to shut these down by 2020, I saw an article about it a little while back. Once I dove it, I said, this cant be good my for health, although a cool dive, its not worth the health risk, it supposedly is treated, but they do not do a good job, what i realized is, my ears were not covered. so who knows what type of bacteria gets in through openings in your body..

It is so disgusting that we are dumping all of this waste just off our beaches. Outfall dumping is a dirty secret that most residents don't know about much less the tourists. The divers here are so brave to go into that sewage. I hope they didn't get sick! You can see the waste beginning at about 1:25. So gross!
