thanks for your advice.i think you are completely wrong.in this particular project are the stair treads made of one piece of laminate.there were no stair nosing used on this project.it is very safe,the surface is smooth and there are no joints.laminate stairs are easy to clean,harwear and durable.

its a shame that for a cool stairway such as that that the owner decided to use laminate.

I only say that for one reason... the nosings.

The nosings on laminate, such as this overlap the flooring creationg a bump. It sucks for cleaning and is a safety hazard.

I suggest every single time to go hardwood or engineeered hardwood with flush mount nosings.
