I would say he probably peaked in '98-'99 with "You Don't Know Me". The way I see it, with House becoming increasingly mainstream all through the 90s, Armand ditched the underground sound (unlike, for instance, Kerri Chandler), saw his fan base grow exponentially and stuck to it.
