My parents are calabrese from the province of Vibo. Although their dialect is Calabrian, it shares much in common with Greek. Don't forget that all of central and southern Calabrian was predominately Greek speaking until the 15th century. MAGNA GRECIA RULES!!!

I agree with Vincenzo. Although there aren't any physical evidences left, there are many linguistic proofs that show the uninterrupted continuity of this idiom since ancient times, therefore of the minority too.
