kungzoo, very very impressive, one thing i would suggest is understand the nunchakus path, and find the points where you can change direction with out interrupting the path of the circle, once you find that look at how you can move your feet to achieve the direction change.......2 clues on how to move your feet to move within the nunchakus path lie in Aikido, understand this and i promise you you wont think about the sticks they will become part of your movements
do you just study nunchaku or do you study a full martial art?
ive been studying kobodu for a while now. mostly focussing on Bojitsu and Tonfa. Nunchaku are very fun though. havent nailed the dual-handed stuff yet.
Great video hun! I'm a Kyokushin member and have been for 8 years now. We don't really use nunchaku but i've done some demo's with them and the 6 foot bow at some seminars . My instructor teaches us what he knows and then we try to put our own style to it. Love you're video's they are truly entertaining. Keep up the good work and keep the Spirit. Don't let any of these people put you down. OSU!
It's good seeing you train, however strike postures and defence/attack positions could be incorporated into your sequences, after all it's relatively easy to copy the moves but a different discipline altogether to use Nunchaku as an effective offensive & defensive weapon.
Hey....these are not "true" nunchakus...they are not made of wood. They are much heavier and it's almost impossible to make these movements. But, congrats, these nunchakus, for demo and having fun are just great. Like Raymond said, it's just practice nunchakus.
Alright, enough of the foam nunchuks. Time to start bruising that body. You wont be able to do half of the moves with real nunchucks. But ya gotta get bruised if you want to get better.... keep it up.
who hates critiques memememe.... for training just a few months that is pretty astonishing and even more so ur in south korea learning... people dnt be jealus... and your glasses and facial expression very nice ur hott
respect for the moves, but you never become a role model with an outfit like that, with these glasses and your facial expression. probably you tell me now this is not the message of this clip, i understand. i don´t mean it in a mad way but work on your style! it´s your obligation if you want to represent the word nunchaku!
Well, that is ok. But you have practiced that move for long, and is purely by memory. What if you are to actually use them in combat? I'd rather practice for combat use rather then "showoff" And you don't even have a stance, just straight up memory combo....
You have the basic mechanics pretty well. When I started some 28 years ago. I bashed myself plenty of times, so just keep at it and you will progress young padawan...
i see all these comments on how they can take you down in x moves...well its bullshit cus the only thing they learn is how to kick/punch in a specific order=useless in real life. i cant say that she is good cus she only uses her arms and, as i said before, only learn in a specific order. what you need to to do is learning by your self not by a "master".
it takes more skill to do that than learn everthing from a "master"
gruvfyllot is right, my nunchaku skills are not like kungzoo, but as i said i'll do fine protecting myself in real life, also i learned how to fight without a master, because i study muay thai, kendo, tae kwon do, jeet kune do, shaolin buddha finger. and i learned it all by myself, but hey! why not go to a gym you would probably ask me? well it's because fighting is almost no use againt firearms these days. but like in the old days, we lose our weapon we fight with hand and foot.
You are the first female i see with nunchaku. And you are really wonderful.Your skill is developed in that category. Now, there is another important style in front of you.
woah, sonicshadoweggman. Wrong. So wrong. Bring your bo, katana, sai, whatever. A skilled user of the nunchaku is, at the very least, evenly matched with any of these. In fact, I myself practice the art. And I do not believe any of my friends at the dojo with their respective weapons can defeat me, even though I am by no means a master.
the way that you are practising it, it shoulden't even be considered a weapon ( but then again it is a very stupid weapon), it should be in the same catagory as capawera and taichi, for those who want to talk big, and/or have no grasp on reality at all
you seem a bit nervous, don't get me wrong, your moves are very practiced, but you should try to make them less orchestrated, they wouldn't be very good in either combat or competition, but just get a little more unpredictable, dangerous, judges also score on how you move around and if you face all directions. Body bouces are really just meant to prepare you for a trick/strike/aerial/any move really, not as a move themself.
Hey, really nice! =) how long did it take you to advance from the 1handed-demo to this one? you are so more focused in this one, thats a really huge development =) have fun
Don't take this the wrong way...but let's be honest. Those are rubber chuks...I was born and raised with chuks. I can tell by the way they bounch off your body. Sorry, I hate to take away your thunder, but honesty will set you free grasshopper.
That's cool! So that's what do you with nanchakus... there are some in my karate dojo and I picked them up once, spun them around and wacked myself, put them down and never touched them again ... Lucky there is none near me now cause I'd probably pick them up and try and copy you... and smash my computer screen.
It's funny everyone comments that I have no emotion! I will learn from this. But, I thought that the practice of any martial art should be done formally and with decorum?
good cordination. double nunchucks are fun! I would suggest the same thing(confidence), and you gotta feel the love in it. Like the others said, loosen up and to feel it. You could be even more awesome!
I think phoenix777paul means that you have good techniques but you don't quite have that look in your face and eyes. From what I can tell you have good text-book technique. Try to loosen up a bit.

Hollywood? Bruce Lee was the one using two, you dumbass. And if you can use it as well as Bruce Lee, two is definitely better than one.
