How do you turn the damn thing off? I set a delay I like, then I can't turn it off. If I do figure out how to turn it off, I lose the setting that I had it on and I didn't even change any of the presets! I can't figure out how to use it for a simple single delay with an on/off capability...

@garbeaj i dont have the pedal but it should be simalar to my line6 amp. just hold the button down till u see blinking lights and your settings will b saved.

@bobbyabc2 I understand that is how settings are saved...I just can't figure out how to turn the delay off aand then back on like you would if you were using a Boss Digital Delay or some other basic delay pedal...

@garbeaj You can't, you have to save it as a preset if you want that effect to stay there even if you turn it off otherwise you'll just get the factory preset after turning it off!

the TC Nova Delay is also really cool ... the Hughes & Kettner Reflex is awesome too. There is also a Electro-Harmonix model that lets you play a lead solo, stomp on a button and the Signal will continue to play over going back into your rhythm/verse or whatever ... pretty cool too. This DL-4 is awesome too ... does anyone out there "suffer" with GAS pains? Like I do ? GAS as in "Gear Acquisitioin Syndrome?" ... Just gotta keep looking for that perfect tone ... hahaha

Piece of shit . Cant use it with drive at all. I tested it for one evening and didnt get one good sound out of it. Used Vox ad50 and jeff loomis signature guitar. Those two work great together but as soon as you plug this green bugger between them it sucks so bad. And vox built in delay is way better than this. After i realized that its useless with drive i tried it with clean sound and still it sucked

question for people with this pedal: have you been able to re-create dont forget me by rhcp almost exactly. The sound of this song is the sole reason i want to get a delay, and i read that john uses this exact pedal. And i think you can use the looper to get that cool intro sound he uses on a lot of live sets with the volume swell.

i heard the Line6 DL4 break down easy... is this true? reason i ask is because i'm trying to decide what delay pedal to buy. i think the Lin6 DL4 sounds great but i'm a little confused because of the bad reviews on it's a reliability.

I have used a DL-4 for years both live and practices and really like it. I had it modded by Keeley and it was well worth the price as it made it sound much cleaner and corrected the signal drop.I use it on almost always.

Dl4 is a horrible pedal for a live setting . u cant rely on it for crap with dot 8thh etc. its all about the BOSS Gigga delay dd-20.l Plus Its Cheaper and 10X Better
