People here has a huge confusion, the 240sx can have the front face of a silvia, but not the back one, and the silvia just maintains it's base form of light and changes the leds, paint, etc, and the measures of the bumper defines the new one, i prefer 102030 times the silvia s15

@xxcjfshoxx no, actually the 240sx has the KA24DE(DOHC) and KA24E(SOHC). While the 180sx has either the CA18DET(turbo), SR20DE, or SR20DET. People here in the US just swap their KA's out for the SR engines. The UDM 240's don't come stock with the SR20's. They don't pass emissions, and therefore; are illegal. But you can just tip the smog people like a hundred bucks and some will pass it regardless.

@MischifHQ Its just the japanese export version of the sileighty. Cause to them the 240sx is called the 180sx. Sil comes from silvia because they would switch out the front ends(body mod) of the 180sx to that of a silvia s13 because it was cheaper. So we call the 240s with the s13 front ends sil40s and they call their 180sx with the s13 front ends sil80. 240sx and 180sx are virtually the same car. I think the only difference are the engines. Not sure about that though.

i have a s13 hatch with a s13silvia from end(swap obviously)it was like that when i got it.two weeks before i bought it the motor and tranny were replaced with a sr20 set up.so far i have had it for two months and have sprayed it primary red because the bondo was still exposed and the rear was sanded to the metal.first car and project but im not sure what to put on it first since i drift it i was thinking a intercooler or cold ait intake for the over heating. im 16 and make less than 700a month

@fourleggedpigeon do a cold air intake, but it really depends on how much money you are planning on spending because from experience, getting all the parts and tuning for drifting can get quiet expensive. first of does it have an exhaust 2.5" or 3". if not that would be a good thing to start with. then look at the suspension because if you are running stock suspension while drifting it isnt terrible but your body roll will be up in the charts.

I really was king of the road but now I am back to being a norm.. Its like being inside the cockpit of a jet and my type s turbo timer gave me the feeling like when your in a plain and your about to lift off... Serious Adrenaline rush, gets the heart pounding, I miss racing people on the M50 so bad now
