It was really hard to enjoy this because of their conductor!!! but I thought it was great for grade school students...Mr. Conductor-try not to look so creepy next time!!!!
This is really good! I'm not trying to sound racist, but is this school in America or some other Asian country, or perhaps an Asian town in America because I've noticed, and I know by the comments a few others have, they are all Asian?
But again very good but you do need to tune a little. Oh and the teacher does the same thing mine does, looks as if she's beating the stand up! LOL I didn't think anyone else did that!
The students are at Shanghai American School in Shanghai, China. A bunch of them are Asian Americans living in China, many are Korean students whose parents work in China, some are from Taiwan, and the conductor, Mary Siew, is an Asian Australian who studied at the Royal Academy in England.
well theyre just like everybody else, cept theres just more skilled i guess. like whith ppl for instance, there r smart ones just look at professor hawkings for example hes like smart, its just a matter of the individual.(my opinion)
I think I played a similar version of this last year. It was called Highlights from Harry Potter I believe. We didn't have any strings though, except a bass.
That was cool. We played it at my student orchestra, but the real notes. It's amazingly difficult (particularly for the strings), we use to play classical pieces but we made a concert about film musics, you can see it on youtube if you type harry orchestra OSEL. see you.
i go to this school and the conductor is a woman. and if you see her face, she does not look lyk micheal jackson at all. BTW: (She's the best music teacher ever!)
i wish my orchestra could play this together and good...me and my 2 friends out of like 15 are the best in the whole thing...IN THE WHOLE ORCHESTRA...we suck!
If u don't watch the video and just listening to it, It really sounds like part of a chinese orchestra with the gu zhen and all?

I'm not a violin type thing expert, but is something out of tune there?
Elzibubb 3 years ago 5
i hear a violin a little bit sharp and another that is slightly flat not to much, barly noticable. it really was well done.
ringostar8 3 years ago
that was a very sparkely suit the conductor was wearing. And this is headwig's theme by the way.
BlueWaterNymph 3 years ago
where is the clarinets trumpets and everything eles thats supposed to be playing
oliverandjames 3 years ago
This Hedwig's Theme for Beginners, it just keep splaying the same tune over and over again.
The real Hedwig's Theme is 100 times harder but sounds nicer.
