When I was in Vietnam your music was the one thing that kept me alive. When we were going into an LZ we had your music playing on an 8track in the helicopter and I knew this wasn't my day to die, gave me strength and I still listen to it, got me through a hard time in my life. Thanks for the memories!!
Someone's already said and I repeat now: something's missing in this version and I guess it's a good drummer! Compare this to the 1970 version! The 1970 beat was different and prettier! GILBERTO SAUGEN do Brasil
I myself like 10valk wasn't even close to being born when this song along with all the other great music of this era was released but I still enjoy this style of music. This music is WAY better than this nonsense being called music today...I hope someday my kids will enjoy this as much as my family and I have
Im 13 and i love this type of music and almost all the time wish my whole family and all my friends were born in this era so i could still be with them and listen to this amazing music instead of rap and hip hop
What he doesn`t realize is, he went home and wrote one of the greatest songs of the 20th century, because it applies to so many things and it`s still relevant today and always will be. yet the song is not complicated, it`s simple and straight to the point. It didn`t take a genius to write "Who`ll Stop The Rain". It took a simple man who just happened to be a musical genius,, John Fogerty.
Creedence is my favorite band. When i hear a song of theirs i hear music, and i love it. So what do people hear/see in music nowadays? If i hear a new song its like, -boring-

@Super3851 The rhytm guitarist Tom Fogerty died in 1990 of AIDS, drummer Doug "Cosmo" Clifford is playing in the band Creedence Clearwater Revisited together with bassist Stu Cook.
我超喜歡他唱的這首歌,它年輕時所唱的這首歌,和他現在年老了以後所唱的這首歌韻味不同,但是仍然非常好聽,我把它設定為我的最愛的三首歌,還有二手是LODI、Have you ever seen the rain?
John has written classics for 40 years, but the CCR era was the greatest.I saw John in London 2006 and he was just awesome. The best singer/songwriter ever
samhain1967 ----There is one word, which can describe you...Jerk!!--Do you really think, that Mr. Fogerty(king of swamp rock) wants to be part of Queen???
@andeejan many thanks for the best comment i have read on youtube in 5 years...avril levine (if she still around and not dissapeared into obscurity)..being talked about in the same breath as the likes of freddie mercury paul rodgers and john fogerty...i read it yesterday but have only just regained my composure after a fit of hysterics to be able to comment...you ludicrous nerd.
Sorry mate, Fogerty is a great musician and song writer but as a 'singer' or vocalist there are tons that blow him away and Paul Rodgers is at the top of that list.. that's why he now sings for Queen and Fogerty doesn't :p
Dude you suck... I am a musician and a vocalist myself and like I said before Fogerty is a great song writer but his skills as a singer aren't all that spectacular.. Paul Rodgers could sing any CCR anyday... Fogerty on the other hand couldn't sing any Bad Company or Queen song without being horrible. Saying Fogerty can sing better than Paul Rodgers is like saying he plays guitar better than Clapton. lol
WOW! truely amazing music. still as good as ever, but with a bit of a different sound. i love it. && john is lookinn greatt. i would kill to be at that show!
Actually Fogerty rules. Those no talents, all they did was give john grief. ANYONE could play stright time. Doug Clifford could not was kenny Aronoff's toe jam. My grandmother's cat can play eight notes on the bass and he has been dead for 15 years.
aww man, aww man, Obelisk2290 you got it so wrong. Doug Clifford drum sound is so associated w/ the ccr sound that you'll never see or hear ccr songs alive again until john pays up. even though john wrote, sang, played lead guitar, produced and wrote the arangements.
you have got it so wrong musically and legally. John could have gotten anyone to play those parts/ Kis on their reunion albug got studio guitarists and drummers to play on the record instead of the originals. The then went on a reunion tour and they were salaried employees. Also you know that unless the person who wrote the songs get all the licensing moey wether for airplay or mechanical. As far as not hearing the originals not playing ill sleep well tonight

mabe the reason why john doesnt sing for queen is that queens style is differnt from ccr and he would rather stick to his own gig.
