I am not punjabi but know the language well. There are a very few languages in the world that have withstood onslaught of western world and this is just because of their literature and its reach to common people. A language that is used merely for communicative purpose dies soon, unlike punjabi which could be used as a tool by the classes and masses alike. May Allah make this language as a bridge between punjabis of India and Pakistan.
