Melee felt so fluid compared to Brawl. When I play Brawl I feel like I'm playing in slow-mo with low gravity. Just look at the way you can fall towards the stage and if you can DI you'll just float back to the stage every time until you get straight up KO'd.

Plus they nerfed most of my favorite characters to shit.

Okay firstly her parasol's length got increased so it evens out the majority, she also got a buff on her utilt, dair and fair. Falco didn't actually get nerfed, he got a completely new playstyle, he remains in top tier, Peach is very near where she was in melee and the ice climbers are argueably the 3rd best characters in the game.

Im not talking about tiers with that statement, but rather her playstyle. I wasn't clear enough. Secondly, Brawl has not been out as long as Melee, it therefore has not been explored as thoroughly and character knowledge is not as variable. A good example of this is Zelda's drop of 9 places in the current brawl tier list.

Ehh, while melee is faster, Brawl has a better system for preventing spam, better graphics, and better character moves. The only problem is it's become more casual. All they should've done was sell melee upgrades, for graphics, items, and a bunch of other stuff where Brawl is superior. But if I had to pick, Brawl is better, although they did take out Roy. At least they left Marth though.

hmm, for the spam, there are many characters that can spam! Pit -> B and his arrows.. and now with falcos laser gun shot being shot faster they are an easy spam to. Also zelda's Up A is an easy spam on heavy characters.

However that being said, I do feel more comfertable and relaxed while playing brawl, and I do like the new graphics and some of the new items and character moves. So, i would still play brawl more then i would melee. :P

@CMALloyd better system for preventing spam? Hell no. Better graphics? Yes. Better character moves? They were all based on melee and some characters new moves sucked. One thing brawl got better was taking clone characters away. Brawl still has a lot of stuff it could've done better. The achievements and online and increased character roster are the only things that stand out. Graphics don't matter.

God I love Peach. I played in a tournament last weekend and came 3rd to 2 Marth players :[ I just cant handle Marths, once they get a knock on you they're gonna bounce you around in the air cos you can't tech fast enough.

How do you hit people multiple times with Peach's Down-Smash? I keep trying and it never works for me. I occasionally get it when they are doing their Up-B onto a ledge.

I've only done it a few times, best time was when it did around 68%.

Only way I can see doing it on command would be to do it directly on then, or above them (as in they jump up from below you). Or you could try to work in a turnip to disrupt the D-smashs knockback. I honestly have no idea how it really works though.

Basically it depends on whether your opponent crouch cancels or does not, I believe. Nothing to do with how you press the button or sth. just try it out.

BTW, taht's why some people intentionally CC a Dsmash sometimes, so they get thrown towards the stage and not off the stage ;)

Yeah, dittos don't really mean anything. It just means that they're better at that matchup. People better at peach dittos than Vidjo are Cort, PC, M2K, and there's probably a few more. If you're wondering about M2K, he beat Vidjo in a peach ditto before. Cort is probably the best at peach dittos, he beat Vidjo and raped Wife at Pound 3.
