In one part of it, Bonnie was holding the Grimoire and there was fire behind her. I think Bonnie was breaking the spell on the tomb (maybe with Lucy or Luca). This is how Katherine may get out. GO KAT!! I also believe that it is Katherine with Rose cause, when Katherine says to Jeremy 'Come in and get it', and then we see her walking up some stairs in the same clothes. She is also wearing the same thing when she says 'Im getting Klaus's attention'. Either way Katherine is getting out!!!

@elise298 it's filmed in America starting in summer (July I believe) so there isn't a big gap between episodes being recorded and being aired. There are also holidays that the cast and crew take along with the viewers (mainly Christmas). And this season Nina Dobrev hurt her back working so hard. 3 weeks is abnormal, normally it's 1 missed week at the most. When you get the season, it's all done recording - the only work needed is dubbing into French. That's why you get it without breaks

@elise298 It's because they haven't completed the later episodes in a season, in America, where the show is made, but when they air in France or the UK etc, usually at a later date, more episodes have been completed or a full season. And, because in America there are various holidays where TV shows aren't shown for a few weeks or months :/

@elise298 You're welcome, it's no problem! :) I'm really not sure if there will only be 2 episodes in Dec and then a break, but I assume there will be a break over the Christmas holidays, so the show will probably return in late January or early/late February. It sucks! There are 22 episodes in a full season, usually, and the seasons end in May or earlier in the USA, so season 2 will most likely end in May, like season 1 did. I actually live in the UK :) England. You're welcome again :).
