I discovered Dr Wilson on youtube. So thanks to all who post anything by this awesome brother. Once I started listening to his CD's and reading some of his books, I could no longer no look at the world the same. Does our culture meet our needs and solve problems?  At present? No.

i know exactly how you feel.. i told this guy at a book store that i was studying psychology and i needed a black psychologist i could learn from,,. he got real exctited then he said he had the brother for me and he gave me Riot or Revolt by Amos Wilson... ever since then in 2003 i was hooked... i need to post some things from him i have at home myself... ive read blueprint for black power twice... im a fanatic LOL... read "blueprint" if you get a chance

@AfricansArise Bro. Amos' understanding of our condition is phenomenal. His understanding of our condition is only surpassed by his solutions to the problems of our conditons.  It is amazing that after all these yrs (he has been A Most Honored Ancestor for > 15 yrs now), that many of our ppl (some of 'em who claim to be conscious) have not heard of Amos Wilson. He is one of the greatest minds we produced in the 20th century and he is still gettin' slept on. I'm glad that you have discovered him.

Forgive me, but there's a book the late dr. mentions by Chancellor Williams. Is that title of the book Dr. Wilson mentioned called the Plan ? Or did I miss the title.

I think he's talking about The Destruction of Black Civilisations. I haven't read the book yet, but I know that after recounting all the examples of outsiders destroying our civilisations - WIlliams then offers and actual action plan for counteracting these attacks and rebuilding our civilisations.

DR. AMOS is right there is a lack of motivation. That because of images in the imperial U.S. They show blacks as nothing & that we came from nothing who got freedom from the people who took them out of civilization. That is the mind frame of whites & sad to say blacks as well why......they do not read about their own people. But if you were told you have no history after slavery why would you look for somthig that does not exsist. WAKE THE HELL UP BLACK PEOPLE!!!
