I'm glad I found Carl Michael Bellman through the fact that he has my Grandpa's and Dad's name, which led me to experience his wonderful poetry and music!

I love this song. It is beautifully sung and the music just flows and bends with the singer's voice. This is the first version I have heard of this song and I am so taken!

Sometimes I think Bellman is underestimated, and sometimes I think he's overestimated; He's like Mozart, a natural; There is something in his music that just corresponds to humanity. Why? I don't know, it's universal and cannot be explained. I'd like to leave it at that.

This was a wonderful take on this song, I've only heard it in swedish before.

Is there a german version for this one too though? I'm swedish but they tend to be damn good aswell.
