They're 18 and 19, not exactly that young. Some of them don't even want a family, they just want to show their parents that they can survive on their own (i.e. Jordan&Sasha) or show that they cannot have children (i.e. Kelsey&Sean)

A girl at my college 19 has a kid and even with her parents help it hard . she has like crying fits cause it becomes so much school being a mum and working to support your family. at any age its hard but if u havent had alot of life experience like a 18 or 19 year old its worst

Do you guys know how editing works? 72 hours times 5 houses down to less than 2 hours on the show. Of course they show the "brattiest" moments for entertainment. I was there, and all the teens had hard moments and awesome moments. Again, watch all 6 episodes before you judge...I've previewed them all, and it's a very touching show. I think some of you miss the point: it's a learning experience.  All of the teens learned.

Out of everything that I have watched so far, Alicea is by far the LEAST ready to have a child. She acts like a child herself and needs to grow up. Telling a child to "starve", is WRONG! That mother had every right to get involved and yell at her.

Um..I am calm? I am voicing an opinion, not a complaint (obviously). I think she is a selfish brat and I was happy to see her real mom tell her what's what in the latest episode.

I don't think Alicea realizes how hard it is to take care of a baby, let alone work. She was lazy the entire time and emotionally "checked out". She's over 18 and there is no reason for that kind of behavior.

At least we know her real mom didn't teach her to act like that.
