  • coca cola da rampa

  • @trakyann No.

  • Good recommendations, but Montreal is so much more than just places -- there's a summer full of festivals, and there's great food and, most of all, there's people watching. If there's one thing you'll want to "do" in Montreal, it's the beautiful French Canadians.

  • You forgot SO many amazing places; The Casino, LaRonde, Eaton Centre, St.Catherine Street (theres always some festival going on) and The Expo 67 Pavillion!

  • @Kaissie3 .... Eaton Centre is in Toronto :P

  • @asim0s0m LOL uhh what the fuck, no? I live in montreal, and im pretty sure theres an eaton centre in montreal, look it up idiot.

  • @Kaissie3 oh... sorry, i did'nt know there was more than one :(

    my apologies ...

  • @asim0s0m Haha its alright :]

  • @Kaissie3 LOL!!! that's what i dislike about toronto, we're so proud that we don't know anything about other cities :(

  • you fourgot laronde

  • you fourgot THE SUBWAAAAAAY!

  • I hate when people pronounce it "MAWNtreal"..it's pronounced like "Muntreal".Get it right.

  • You forgot Île Notre-Dame, home of La Ronde and the Canadian Grand Prix. Also, you forgot about Downtown Montreal, home of the world's most famous restaurants and hotels. Even the Bell Centre, home of the most historic franchise in hockey; the Montreal Canadiens. In addition, you forgot Old Montreal, where all the history of this city lies on. These are just a few examples. I am from Montreal. I know many things about the second largest French-speaking city in the world (Paris being first).

  • cant wait to go this weekend, im gonna party like charlie sheen and fuck whores like charlie sheen

  • Mais c'est nul ?!

  • it,s realy so nice for this placa

  • Forgot LaRonde :O

  • Very good my love.

  • I'm hoping to get to Montreal in a couple weeks for a night or two. Any recommendations other than what is in this video? During the day? During the night? I like walking everywhere and am a fan of drinks and food at night.

What's a reasonably priced and decent hotel?

Any advice would be highly appreciated

  • top 5 things-whine when your hockey team loses or some one gets hit, smell like frenchmen, being wimpy, whores, and BOOING THE US NATIONAL ANTHEM.

  • i REALLY don't like this list because mount-royal park includes st-josephs oratory and the olympic parc includes the botanical garden, the biodome and the stadium. so that actually makes two items on the list. there are MANY other things to do in Montreal.

  • if you find montreal uggly..go to google and look for "Vénissieux" France ..and enjoy...

  • architectural achievment hahaha. The stadium is just big and ugly. Try the old port instead...

  • i know toronto, i enjoyed very much and im planning to go to montreal but this is boooooooooring

  • 1.go watch canadians of montreal match in centre bell

    2.go to laronde

    3.go in a club

5.redo all these step for a good vacation!

  • YOU GUYS FORGOT LARONDE!!!!! AND THE WEED!!!!! AND THE CHICKS!!!!!

  • I'm from Montreal and all I can say is that this city is boring, dirty, and extremely corrupt (thats just at the city gov't level, never mind the people) The women are the biggest skanks this earth has produced and the guys are so full of themselves (especially the Lebanese, Moroccans, Greeks, Italians, and Armenians).

I want to leave. Toronto is much better.

  • @Bkberries

fuck you man montreal rules and fuck you armenians rule

  • @teamwork1productions

    You've just proved my point

    Thx

  • @Bkberries

  • So glad I live here lol

  • i live in montreal but to me... its kinda boring cuz there arent allot of cool or tall skyscrapers, theres no action and its dirty thats why i wanna go live in Tokyo... :)

  • I only been to Vancouver in Canada but after seeing this, I'd love to visit Montreal. Many people say it's beautiful there and I truly believe them. This city is going to be added to my list of "destinations to visit in the future" :)

  • where is the old port

  • well the most stunning architectural achivement when u cannot even open the roof anymore cause the roof always rips ahah but yeah still pretty nice FIND a way to open it ! PS better material :)

  • Why do most stunning architectural achievement have to represent some guy's dick?

  • 514

  • way to pick out the 5 most boring things to do in montreal!

  • loool le trafic -___- l'autre jour jtait sur cote-de-liesse pi ca m'a pris 2 heures juste pour bouger 2 METRES.

  • Montreal cool place to visit, not so much to live in though. roads and traffic here are sooooo bad too.

  • if it wasnt for montreal, toronto wouldnt have any strippers. Vive le montreal

  • It's a beautiful city, but my French isn't too good and I much prefer French. Even though I live here now, I'll probably go to Toronto soon. The language barrier makes me anxious.

  • Fuck this video makes it seem so boring..

  • Montreal is good, but why don't they speak english? :(

  • Comment removed

  • @jsambuev c'est pourquoi elle est si cool

  • @jsambuev Actually, everytime I go to Montreal, I'm shocked. Seems to me like more than half the people only speaks english. Perhaps they are tourists though, I don't know.

  • @Najolmirr I live here and I'm bilingual. Whenever I speak the forbidden language of English I get dirty looks. There's a "language police" here that makes sure the French language isn't violated. I think you might have seen a herd of tourists. Just sayin'...

  • @spacecowboy5000 , most ppls in Montreal speaks English, its not

  • @spacecowboy5000 , most ppls in Montreal speaks English, its not Quebec city, over there u might have dirty looks if you speaks English, but Montreal i don't think so....

  • @Najolmirr hmm i LIVE in montreal and most people speak french

  • @jsambuev Are you serious? It's a French city. Most people are bilingual, but French is the predominate language.

  • @follepourchevaux I just joking, I like French people and I like how they saved their culture in English-world.

  • I LIVE IN MONTREAL im gaaay

  • @12345678910to20 I live in montreal to and im gay i need a bf ( i speak french)

jvi a mtl pi jai besoin d'un copain gay ta quell age? pi thabite ou?!

  • if lots of pussy is the only thing you get in montreal then i will trade away all the scenic sites in ontario and toronto in exchange for montreal anyday!

  • I want to live in Montréal :(

  • Five things to do in Montreal? 1. Eat dinner. 2. Get drunk. 3. Stroll in downtown. 4. Meet new people. 5. Get lai.d

  • @HellYeahhhhhh sure the health care sucks compared to ontario. but i will take getting laid more often there, then from the cold miserable tightwad snobs and yuppies in ontario and toronto.

  • biodome is near the stadium but seriously the stadium is a piece of crap nothing to see.

  • You people try living in Kingston Ontario! I am a Montrealer all my life and moved here 6 months ago due to work and it has been the most miserable move ever. Everyday is a trial and life in Montreal was always good. Healthcare was the pits compared to Ontario but we can get beer at the depaneur we can get thai food, indian, ect easily and rent is cheap and people are sexy everywhere you look. Kingston=greasball hell.

  • !!!

  • Difficult to get a bloody visa from a third w c for a boring place like this city .

Anyway i ve got to many feinds which are left it forever ,no best place to live.

    Best place is europe ;)

  • When you think about it, we have maximum temperatures of 40c in summer, and -40c in winter... that's 80c difference... add 20c more and you can boil water

  • who the fuck would go there in the winter

  • @23thedoom snowboarding is awesome

  • Ok so the top five things to do in Montreal are;

    1 be bored

    2 be bored

    3 be bored

    4 be bored

    5 go to strip club

    its worth the trip!!!

  • @coolbones

Is it really that boring there?

  • Pretty cool! me and my fiance have to go to Montreal for my fiance visa interview coming up, and we're going to be stuck there for a few days. So we might as well check these places out 8o

And yeah, I'm a Canadian in the process of becoming an American citizen like him so we can finally marry..lol

  • I don't like hearing the name Montreal in English, it's not its real prononciation

It's a french name.... more like Mah- rahal ... there's no ''T'' in there

  • Yeah, Montreal is one of the greatest cities in the world.... Unless you live there

  • @Barnakos my thoughts, precisely. ostis ditinérants gelés saouls a marde!

  • @Barnakos Can you give me a couple of the biggest reasons that you don't like Montreal?

I've never been there and it seems like such a laid back and cool city with quite a bit of things to do.... I guess?

  • @MoneysnHoneys Honestly, Montreal is the best city to live, to chill out, and to have a great social life.... That being said, the downpart is the infrastructures and the budget... Every road, bridge, overpass, highway intersection is either falling apart or in construction, creating traffic jams to go berserk. We also have the feeling we are getting butt fucked with our miserable budget, managed by a corrupted administration.

But yes, it is a nice city

  • @Barnakos Thanks for the honest answer.

Yeah, I've heard of the budget problems. I live in LA, so I see what you mean.

  • this message is in response to Cutchswife..asking the best plave to move in Canada...the best place to live in Canada is easily Toronto! Its a beautiful city full of culture, theatre, sports, Piazza's, Cafe's,festivals... everything you can ask for! Dont just take my word for it..come to Canada and travel to Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal ( the only 3 cities in Canada) and you make the decision....I am sure you will make Toronto your new home!

    Forza Toronto! Grazie Tutti....

  • well this is like the 5 worst things to do in Montreal....there's so many better things

  • Olympic Stadium? that things a concrete piece of crap, common

  • Awww c'mon bitch, you forgot all the hot asses walkin' around in Montreal! Everybody I know from around the globe who came to Montreal told me we have awesome women here, and it's damn true! This ain't the USA, there aren't huge fat asses everywhere you look!

  • @rybhugo man dont remind me of canadian girls:(, theyre the hottest in the world

  • @rybhugo i mean. all the guys i know like fat asses. idk about you man.

  • @rybhugo women in montreal arent any better than miami or new york or LA, montreal women just have that reputation of being hot therefore they think theyre all that and get snoby and they are mostly french canadian whose accent makes me wana puke, Montreal is good for wealfare and weed, besides that, its a GREY city, too many taxes, too many trafic tickets, way too many brand new immigrants who feel rejected from canadians, plus the english ppl dont mix with the french and sometimes hate them.fuk

  • @rybhugo uhhh actually canada and the U.S. are the same and we dont take shit from others... canada has a higher obesse rate. So check your damn facts before you talk your shit.

  • @newsflashsweetie Have you ever BEEN to Canada?? I personnaly have never been to the English part of Canada, because I live I Quebec, but you can notice the bodyweight difference AS SOON AS YOU CROSS THE BORDER! Ho, and really? Canada has a higher obese rate?? Really, have you actually looked up what you're saying here? Just go on google, type Canada obesity rate and you've got your answer.

  • @rybhugo whatever im not waste time and argu over something so ridic. and honestly in my OPINION Quebec sucks ass! theres nothin to do theree....

  • @rybhugo usa also has one of the largest number of strongest fit men and women as well you idiot.usa has way better women than all of canada..beautyfull women of every race and color that you can find in the world.

  • @rybhugo just go to the beach in santa cruz CA usa or miami or luguna beach you will see the slimmest fit most beautyfull women that you can find in the world. with nice sun kist skin with a tan glow...the number of men and women BODY Builders in the USA fexceed all others in the world.

  • @trugemini6382 Of course, beaches are full of beautiful women, because it's a point they rally around. You don't see girls like that walking down every street do you? Well, in Montreal you do. Now, it is true that a lot of our girls are skanks here, but heh, what can you do.

  • @rybhugo i didnt see any beautyfull women walking around in this video of montreal eh....ccmon man i live in california and there are beautyfull women everywhere i go . its so hard for me to keep faithfull to my girlfriend and everytime we go out to the mall or to eat she always catches me looking at other girls...you wanna see hot girls every where go to LAS VEGAS..Nevada

  • @trugemini6382 Please... she was in the freakin' Biodome, you can't actually expect girls to go there -.-

And I'm not into hookers too much, so I'll have to pass on Las Vegas, sorry.

  • @rybhugo Theres many more things to do in Vegas than get hookers or gamble , it is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world. And dont forget that single girls all over the world and country go to Vegas Clubs on vaction so if your having to pay for a hooker in Vegas than your not doing somthing right. just walk down the strip and you will see hundreds of single ladies walking around that are Not hookers just normal chicks visiting on vaction and having fun ..

  • @trugemini6382 Well, this conversation has gone on too far already, so I'll put a stop to it if you don't mind ^

  • @rybhugo You haven't been to LA.

  • stupid people say mantreal its montreal

  • Smoke a joint??? Where?? Is in Montreal allowed?????? ;)

  • @Cheeskye you can lick my balls, I allow you to.

  • @gairero you have only a stupid and an unsane mind. IDIOT

  • @Cheeskye no it is not lol xD

  • Sorry I know this has nothing to do with this video,Just an FYI if you need your bike fixed DO NOT GO to Vel Aube on 5863 Ave De Lorimier not only is a SMALL SHOP with like 4 bikes but the service is TERIBILE I went there bad experince first time and my last. It's a hole in the wall!!!!!

  • This summer, get yourself a smoked meat sandwich from Schwartz and go see the fireworks at La Ronde.

  • lol i been to the olympic, the gardens, and the church, i havent been to the biodome. but ive been and done everything this damn video says lol. the church i live here cote des neiges and im just a 10 minute walk from the church.

  • Check out my Montreal videos on my channel, Thank you. T.J.F.

  • Olympic Stadium... architectureal acheivment WTF !!! It's a ruin, the only reason i don't want it to be destroyed is 'cause i'd still have to pay for that !!! That thing is a wreck:

    1 - No sports team !

2 - Sound quality for concert: ''one of the worst there is''

3 - Roof: Was suppose to but never actually opened !

4 - Location: Far from everthing else !!!

Please visit and enjoy Montreal !!! but for F*** Sake avoid the Stadium

    ''A Local''

  • @WayneTre

also, it's the most expensive building in the history of civilization, thanks to the mobbed up corrupt geniuses that got the idiots to sign the checks.

  • i live across the street from the olympic center no joke im in pie 1X blvd close to the metro.

  • this top 5 is weak, biodome and the olympic stadium? come on, jazz festival!

  • They forget to tell that the tamtams is really just smoking pot with a happy bunch... The nearby Harvey's must be a gold mine

  • @Barnakos what is that 3ed thing they said ?

  • dine at the old port!

  • You can't go to Montreal without having tried one of their prestigious bagels, you just simply can't. Poland invented them, Montreal perfected them.

  • Polish jews really.

  • Don't forget Beavertails if you never visited any other areas of Canada!

  • the sunday tam tam is awesome rember we accidently ran into this amazing celebration, well everyone was really just smoking alot of pot and dancing bu hell thats aways fun, i like montreal some of the people are stuck up especially if u dont spek french but whateer the good people balance t out montreal is a great place to go in the summer i recommend late july early august

  • @souljaLOVE

Yeah, living here really isnt bad considering i "speak french", but they are crummy if you dont speak it.

  • We can be vaccinated for the H1N1 at the Olympic Stadium! :D

  • respect a tous le monde icite

  • Comment removed

  • roflll Stadium XD

It is actually not that special XD

  • It now serves as a multipurpose Stadium for the city (aka we have no idea what to do with it) and it remains Montreal's most standing architectural achievement (the standing part is debatable).

I can't believe they left out the Old Port!

  • colis de tabarnaque lol

  • the best time for coming to Montreal is from june to october ! otherwise it gets too cold !

  • Other things to do in Montreal:

    - Smoke a joint

    - Go to a stripclub

    - Hide in a pothole

    - Being fashion by renting a 1800$/month dump on the ''Plateau''

    - Freeze your balls off

    - Handbrake your way to work, in winter

    - try and dodge falling pieces from the self-destructing stadium

    - Laugh at it's permanent roof

    - Get stuck in traffic, the kind you have to pack a lunch for

  • LMAO !!!

    good list Barnakos!

  • @Barnakos Hi, I just saw your comments on youtube about Montreal, Canada LOL, they made me laugh :D I hope you don't mind me bothering you, but I am thinking of moving to Canada from London, England and I wondered what part of Canada you'd recommend to live? Thanks :-)

  • @Barnakos we can obviously see that you know nothing about the city of Montreal, arrogance and ignorance isn't something to be proud of. i don't live in Montreal, but i love it there and its culture and unique flare draw me to it every year. so stop being jealous of an obviously growing metropolis and get a fucking life. :/

  • @hottyR7 ... Oh my god, your reply is embarassing for both of us...

First, I live in montreal, I was born here, I speak French... I know every corner of this city, not just those synthetic cute tourist spots you've seen... This city is in bad shape

Second, there's a thing called humored sarcasm... go find what that is, rookie

But I surely agree on one thing, the cultural span of this city is it's strongest attribute

You go get a life, you're out of the track, my friend

  • @Barnakos lol I've been to Montreal just for an over night experience though, i had a nice time but i had a good chuckle over what was written here. Made me laugh quite a bit. thanks for making my day.

  • @Barnakos

... and the last item on your list brings you right back to the first one. Perfect harmony.

  • @Barnakos smoke a joint eh, going their this week, where to find herbal refreshments???

  • @knitsu Just ask the first guy you come across . 40% odds

  • @lari861 more like 65%

  • @Barnakos LMAO hahahahahahaahahahahah

  • @Barnakos hahaha! true vrai pareil!

  • @Barnakos You must be from around here

  • Montreal!! my hometown. like we say in French: Vive le Montreal Tabarnak!

  • haha, nice :)

  • @SeuiJaii lmfao osti de colisse ouais! xD

  • if you go to all these places your skin might fall off from boredom!

you gotta hit ste catherines street, sherbroke, st denis, st laurent, crescent, all those streets. thats where the parties are.

    sight seeing is for geriatrics

  • If you're coming to Montreal for more than a few days, buy a weekly Metro pass it's only 20 dollars and they are issued every sunday. It's more convenient than buying a dozen of tickets which cost 12,75 $.

  • for the week, the metro pass is like 11 $ for a student (those who are in school) and works for the bus, too. unfortunately to buy it, you need a school ID. Im not sure if they are recognized here from other places, but it's definitely worth buying.. the metro is convenient but expensive!

  • I'm a college student from chicago and I'll be visiting montreal over the summer. When you said you didnt know if they are recognized there from other places, did you mean you didnt know if they may or may not accept student ID's from other cities to buy the week long passes? Because one of those would be pretty useful lol

  • I'm sending you a message with my response, alright?

  • What's Montreal like? Is it perfectly Bilingual? Or a slight tendency towards French?

  • Not really alot more french!

  • More and more english people are popping up here in Montreal, but yeah there are more french. I have lived in Montreal my whole life and i speak 100% english, It's not as required as people think.

  • you get further with knowledge of french though thats for sure

  • Why? They speak far better english than the other canadians speak any other language? It's one of characteristics that makes Canada have one of the best quality of life in the world, its multicultural society.

  • Yo shut up guy, I AM FROM MONTREAL, AND I DIDNT SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT IT, AND I CAN SAY WAT EVER I WANT ABOUT IT, I LOVE MONTREAL. SO STOP FUCKING SAYING BIG WORDS AND SHUT UP

  • Hey mate, I wasn't the one being condesending. I didn't say anything negative. You just happened to say and quoting from your previous comment 'yes theres more french, i hate it'

  • Comment removed

  • depends what area youre in.

if you go downtown you will be able to speak english pretty much exclusively. if you go to the east end of the island, expect french.

same thing for the south and north shores.

the west has most of the english

  • As a kid. I use to live in Montreal in the late 70's. Last week I was there with my girlfriend and we had a amazing time there and its the first time in 30+ years being back. I love it. The people and city is absolutly beautiful. I would definitely go back.
