  • Timeless Sachmo!

  • To the owner of the video, this isn't a Fats Domino song, it's a Sammy Kaye song that was later performed by Fats Domino and that was after Louis Armstrong had recorded his version! Thanks for uploading regardless.

  • "I found my thrill on blue berry hill", Sung by the great Schamo, can any body tell when was this song composed and where, please.

    Ehsan Kahlon

  • @EECA2000 The lyrics were written by Al Lewis who was well known back in the 30's and early 40's when this song was originally written. The music was written by another fella, but its the lyrics that make this song special no matter who's singing it including the legendary Fats Domino who did the most famous version.

  • @EECA2000 The music was written by Vincent Rose, the lyrics by Al Lewis in 1940. Many singers and bands have recorded it. Louis Armstrong did so in 1949, it was a big hit, and Fats Domino recorded his mega-hit version in 1956.

Blueberry Hill is supposed to be in Taos in New Mexico, a secluded place where boys could meet girls and....??... find their 'thrills'?

  • @whatsinmyroom

    great mom

  • Take a good guess steve89z. Let me know. Jim

  • high on weed

  • After reading and watching DVD Biography I was surprised to learn he smoked pot every day for his whole adult life. The 64 million dollar question is "What reason when asked did he give for smoking pot everyday"? The answer may surprise you if you dont already know.

  • to keep him happy?

  • Yes to keep him happy. When asked why he smoked pot everyday and was always high He responded that he needed to do that to take away the anger that he felt about racism in America. Remember he came from New Orleans, the deep South. There was segregation back then in south. He would play in front of white audiences and was not even aloud to use their fountain and bathroom because he is black. That angered him. He is always smiling and happy because he is stoned which took away pain + anger

  • i am in awe thats fukn cool

  • I think that Armstrong did a lot for the black movement with his subtle little songs and positive demeanour. It endeared people of all races to him. I did not know that mofo was high!

  • @MrJim12341121

I feel his pain.I loved him from the start to the end. there will never be another like him. Even listening to him now after so many years he is stil my favorite and I will NEVER forget him and his music. I don't care if he smoked pot I'll love him to the end

  • Jozsefh2
