I think people should be able to just go pro out of high school. If their pro career doesn't work out then they should be able to just go to college and play and do plan B and get a real job.

Just because colleges don't pay straight up cash doesn't mean that there isn't incentive to go to college. The knowledge and education you get from college is invaluable. From a monetary standpoint, a college tuition is a large amount of money, something that players on athletic scholarships don't have to pay. IMO, there are more than enough incentives.

yes it's true. But at the same time, it seems the more highly prized recruit a player is, the less educated he seems. Most D1 players don't graduate from the college. The colleges got waht they wanted out of the player but too bad the player didn't take advantage of the free education.
