Because of your review I picked up the previous issue and LOVED IT. The one-and-done format is sooo refreshing. I couldn't wait for this issue because the Flash is one of my favorites. Thankfully, it did NOT DISAPPOINT! This book proves two axioms: SIMPLICITY IS ELEGANCE and LESS IS MORE. Believe me, a one-and-done book is much harder to pull off. We all have a tendency to want to ramble on and on (and, no, that is not a veiled reference to the lenght of this video). Harder to be succinct
That´s the second issue you guys have given JMS praise... I loved his work on Spider-man and Thor... and was a little worried about his jump to DC... mostly because I didnt think they would take advantage of him...
Digging these lengthy discussions guys. And I don't even read Brave and the Bold! Although, I may have to start, I've been hearing a lot of good things.
i would have gotten this if last week didnt have so much books coming out. anywaise this feels like an older issue of CCW. idk if its the lighting or the clothes you guys wear but it feels older lol. anywaise i like in the description you say the term "CCW nation" you guys should really roll with that!
B&B sounds pretty interesting. Haven't read any. Are they all one in dones? If so I'll check it out. If you guys recommend a book chances are I'm gonna like it, you haven't steered me wrong yet guys.
I agree with Jose, as someone who is trying to get back into collecting comics, it's a bit discouraging and frustrating to find almost no one shot stories out there. Everything has to be so damn epic these days, how about a little quality over quantity? The single issue story comic seems to be a lost art these days.
Ok Jose, I was waiting for the 2nd "all clear" on a JMS book before I jumped in. So I will pick up 27, 28 & even 29 of B & B to read for myself how great this title is.

I love JMS. His Thor work was superb. Maybe I should give B&B a try, is it still a Batman book?
I'm not really to big on the Bat.

Batman is not in every issue. He wasn't in this issue.

Haven't read Brave and the Bold in a while, just not interested unless Supes or Bats is involved heavily

I have to get these titles then, I'm tired of the decompression style. I miss having this one good story, usually they are far more memorable.
