no, the Qur'an (not Koran) does not tell you to kill people. You do not know the name of the book, let alone its contents. Ignorance only fuel the fires of the extremists. It is foolish to make such comments on something you do not even have a grasp of.
Let me ask, does the bible tell Christians to murder each other or fellow Jews? Because they have done it in the past, and continue to do so on in Asia. Does these acts mean the bible teaches it? Absolutely not.
You are either a muslim yourself, or a koolaid drinking liberal apologist for Islam. You could not have read the "Qur'an" and came to that shameful lying statement that the Qur'an does not tell muslims to kill infidels. Also, real devout Christians don't murder anyone. You could not find a Bible scripture that commands murder and oppression. Tell me one distinct Christian group living today that is blowing people up and cutting off heads. I know how the Qur'an is spelled. I don't give this book the honor because it commands muslims to kill nonmuslims(infidels). So I use the common western spelling.
Moreover, funny how you guys always point to the crusades for an example of Christian violence. Whoever said these persons(crusaders) were real Christians in the first place.
There is not place in the Bible where they could have justify what they did.
Start by looking at your own ignorance. The Koran tells adherants to kill!
Just like some of those of the crusades and inquisition who participate in these acts, are not true Christians, those who interpret parts of the Qur'an are not true Muslims.
And the fact that there are several verses in the Bible that do command killing, makes me wonder if you have read that book as well. If you want I can start filling this page with quotes. But, then you proceed to call me names? Your ignorance, hate, and immaturity makes you share the same qualities as Nidal Hasan.
THOU SHALT NOT SUFFER A WITCH TO LIVE (Exodus 22:18 )
If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. (Leviticus 20:13 )
"Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel." (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)
1st. You are using all Old Testement scriptures THAT APPLIED to the Jews ONLY.
***There verses don't apply to Christians at all.
Contex, context, context is what I was taught in semminay.
The context is that God commanded the Jews to obey these laws in order to set a foundation in history, for the rest of us, that harsh external laws will not change the fallen hearts of people. The problem lies in the sin nature of humans due to the fall of Adam and Eve.
cont...Christians live by God's Holy Spirit. We call this power "grace" or "the annointing" of God.
**** If you would take the time to read the New Testement all the way through, you will find that most of the scriptures deal with living like Jesus and relating to God himself.
#Also, you see that it is God Himself that deals with wicked people after he has given them a great amount of time to repent and accept Him.
Its all about freewill choice. There is no such thing as....cont.
You tube ate my comment, so I will recap. Context is very important. Indeed there are two verses which give permission to kill in the Qur'an. One is if you are attacked, them come into your lands, and prevent you from practicing your religion, then and only then, may you defend yourself. Even then, you must grant asylum to any soldier who asks for it, and if they give up their attacks, you must stop. Under no circumstances should any innocent be killed and only attacking soldiers may be slain.
The other, is a historical context in which a treating was broke, and they were betrayed by a group of people, and attacked by this group of people, and even then, the above rules apply.
The Qur'an 9:5 says "Then when the sacred mouths are drawn away, SLAY the adolaters wherever you find them, and take them, and confine them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent and perform the pray (to convert to Islam), and pay the alms, then let them go their way."
How do reconcile that Qur'anic scripture with Jesus who commands " bless those who curse you"?
Also, how do you reconcile Qur'an 9:5 with Jesus who commanded his followers to "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:44, 45a.
Muhammed never told muslims to bless those who curse them or did he say that muslims should love their enemies.
Furthernmore, have you read in Qur'an 8:39 which reads "Fight them [non-mulins] UNTIL there is no persecution and the religion [no competing religion] is God's entirely."
Also, Muhammad proclaims in a well accepted tradition found in the 'hadith' collections that " I [Muhammad] have been commanded to wage war against mankind UNTIL they testify that there is no god but Allah and that muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and that they establish prostration prayer, and pay the alms-tax [ cont...
This kind of thing does not need to be on TV unchecked. I don't care what the stupid lap dog media says. This is not news and should exposed for what they are.
Guilt by association, Crime by distortion, Nonsequitors, no true scottsman, false association via prioritization, false association via philosophy, insinuation without accusations.
God, she's like some sort of logical fallacy machine. If you need one, she'll use one every few seconds or so.
"Infiltrating the military" So quick to jump to conclusions. Sure, what he did was justified with his religion. Many people believe their Christianity is more important than America, should we go on a witch hunt on those people too?
I always hesitate whether to rate videos like this 1 star for disagreeing with what's said, or 5 stars for showing how stupid people like Malkin are
BTW: Malkin's lines are so obviously practiced. It's all a front for the insecure little asian girl inside her who wants a man to bang her republican talking points right out of her ;)
This bitch is so angry. What about all (99%) of the rampages that were white christians? Just this year no less. White people clearly are christian jihadists.
Many people love to hate because it makes them feel better; superior. Although that's a transient feeling. What they don't realize is holding onto hate causes them suffering while the ones who are balanced are just fine... unless of course they're attacked via violence. All religious people would gain wisdom if they read up on the Buddhist philosophy which can be incorporated into any religion.
I wonder if she realizes how many filipina political pundits appeared on TV or had newspaper columns before the evil "False God of Diversity" became a factor in American political life.
If it was not for the false god of diversity, the only way somebody like Michelle Malkin could get on TV was to be an extra on Hawaii Five-O.
I agree, the Army dropped the ball on Hasan's red flags. But to turn that into an attack on America's committment to diversity and equality is a false argument.
1. She's a total asshole with her little attempt at dog whistle politics. Uber Alles is german for "above all," as in "Deutschland Uber Alles." Thus, trying to create a connection between Affirmative Action and Naziism in the pea-brains of her followers. Given that Nazis believed in racial purity and a master race, there could be no greater contradiction.
2. She forgot the official Fox credo is actually "Udder Ailes," meaning you have to suck on Roger Ailes' tits to get your paycheck.
There are a billion Muslims in the world. If the official interpretation of the Koran was to kill all the non-believers, there'd be no non-Muslims left by now.
Any religion or ideology can be twisted into an instrument of hate. Islam just happens to be the flavor of the month for demagogues who want to bring about political change through terror. As I said yesterday, more than half of the total number of suicide bombers in modern history are Hindu Tamil Tigers fighting in Shri Lanka.
Scott Roeder murdered Dr. George Tiller in the name of Christianity. Does that mean Christianity is a religion of murder? No. It means some political demagogues have managed to convince people that murder can be justified through Christianity. But there's a difference between saying he used Christianity to justify murder, and Christianity advocates murder.
I know you didn't, I was just using it to illustrate the fact that any religion, not just Islam can be used as a justification for murder. So can any ideology, since people don't just kill in the name of religion.
Finally, by far the majority of people who kill do it for no religious or ideological reason at all. That's especially true for mentally unbalanced people.
People who crack up will look for a justification to kill. If they can't find one, they'll do it anyway.
The point is Hasan was not discharged for explicitly supporting an ideology (radical Islam) that the US is currently at war with because said ideology is protected by political correctness.
It is ludicrous to think a NAZI supporter would have, or should have, been allowed to serve in Marshal's army. Similarly, if sufficient evidence is available that a Muslim is traitor his superiors should not have their hands tied by PC.
We can agree on the first part, just not the second part. You're jumping to the conclusion that the Army was fully aware that he was a dangerous, unstable, militant Muslim radical, and wanted to discharge him but couldn't because of PC policy. I haven't seen any evidence for that, nobody takes PC policy that far. I think they just dropped the ball by failing to connect the dots. It wouldn't be the first time, and it won't be the last.
Hasan was caught trying to contact Al-Qaeda; he openly conducted Islamic proselytization; he openly sided with Iraq & Afghanistan over the US.
I'm not saying any one of these, except for the attempt to contact Al-Qaeda, are in and of themselves enough for discharge. But they should been sufficient for investigation. It is clear Hasan's conduct was not addressed because of possible PC blow-back. In other words, if they had not been PC they would have discovered the extent of his radical nature.
So they "missed" the fact that he was muslim? And "counted himself as muslim first and American second". As if they're exclusive. You can't be an American muslim?
And at the end there, where she talks about the SOA, saying THAT was proof of him not being able to serve. So now NO muslims can serve in the US forces? Wow.
does anyone take this idiot seriously? well, actually fox and all the ignorent hick that watch fox does. I feel for the future of this country. btw.... that fuck worm Joe Liberman was chair of the homeland security commitee. maybe if he was doing his job and not all the other useless bullshit he's been pulling lately, this possibly may have been prevented.
dave chappelle: lets talk about chinese people with their KUUNG FU... and their silly ching chang chong language... we cant understand you! go back to your country!! white power... lol
The mainagenda item should be to make it harder to get to guns. can someone clere make a list of militaire shooting incidents and then look at the percentage of muslims involved.
The shooting is sad, the deaths are sad, this man's life is tragic - all terrible.
Her analysis is equally sad.
uhhhgggg... Malkin is sad.
3:03 - her argument here is bogus. The report about "right wing extremists" in American was studied/conducted/written under the Bush adminsitration, just released by the Obama admin. And they were right: Dr. Tiller's death, the threats against Obama, the Texas town's assault on that gay bar, etc.
Let me give you my analysis of Malkin. Ask her to define Jihad and find out how little she knows about Islam. This is hysteria. This same type of anti-Muslim hysteria was used to start Gulf War II and Afghanistan.
This bitch is still talking damn! I wonder does she know that Americans who don't like Muslims, probably don't like her dumb ass either. Has she ever heard of railroads, or Korean War, Vietnam War. Americans who hate, are equal opportunity haters, she's included
It does seem the military did drop the ball on assessing Major Hassan but it seems that also applies to the increasing number of gang members, skin heads and radical christian fundamentalists enlisting. The whack job who committed that massacre isn't representative of all Muslims just as a skin head isn't representative of all white christians. The conversation needs to happen but not with racists idiots like Malkin.
Blue haired Phyllis Schlafly supporters make a fuss over her at GOP Country Club fund raisers and it turns her head. Michelle doesn't realize that they are mistaking her for a miniature Pekingese and she can't understand why they feed her cheese corners and dollops of pate' off the tips of their fingers.
Yeah, I know. Ironically, if all those same people that fawn over her at the GOP book-signing events ran into her back at the VIP hotel afterwards they'd assume she's a servant, ball her out for putting too much starch in the sheets, and threaten to have her deported back to "Mexico."
I know Ill catch a bit of flack and Im a bit amazed myself, but I partially agree with some of what Malkin is saying in regards to the Army dropping the ball on Hasan. As facts are now being uncovered, it would appear that he was being drawn to the more radical nature of Islam and should have been considered a security risk; but the question still remains if he was drawn toward this mindset due to contradictions that existed between his faith and being asked to fight a war against the same.
Often we say, God first, then family and country, but it would seem that only applies if youre speaking in terms of a Christian God. Change that to Allah and then it becomes saying with a sinister connotation
I really think he had minimal religious motivations as he according to fox news (so take that for what its worth) was said to spent allot of time at strip clubs and was known to be a good tipper) ..
That being said the realty of having to be part of a system that kills for oil and listening to thousands of hrs of war horror stories (keep in mind the guy was a shrink) was what make him snap. Islam in a nut shell says to be just. People debate on ways to make things just hence you have conflict blamed on Islam.
I'm not buying anything but merely looking at the facts that are being presented and not responding to the Pavlovian response that others may expereince at the mere mention of the woman's name. Don't get me wrong - I'm not one of her fans - but there are some points she's raised that has some merit.
Perhpas you might want to give the matter more research and use those cognitive thinking skills before remarking again.
You're not wrong. The Army and the FBI DID drop the ball on Hasan. However, the conservative noise machine is doing what it does best, and conflating two issues to try and slime a liberal ideal.
Yes, the Army dropped the ball and failed to notice this guy was potentially a dangerous, radical Muslim.
No, the Army (and the country in general) is NOT wrong to be committed to diversity, and to resist the prejudiced and knee-jerk temptation to lump all Muslims together with the radical ones.
Thanks, that's was the direction I was going with that! I can buy some of the arguments that Malkin makes in this video in reference to the Army, but I can't make that leap to the terrorist-Al Qaeda-sleeper cell connection.
where were these people with the atrocities blackwater committed in iraq in the name of the US military and its founder erik prince who is an unappoligitically fundamentalist christian militant. not pitting one religion against another... all religions can be just as murderous
one week later, liberals are now feigning outrage and are out-racist'ing the neonazi on the right... nice going liberals, you really know how to play this game. i can't tell the difference
inny, you're doing what I see a lot of from the far right - posit a situation that doesn't exist and then try to make a political point or gain the moral high ground from it.
Try talking facts instead of using your over active imagination.
Wow. Let's keep up the hate, the fear, and prejudice towards something or someone. Way to go. Am I the only person that finds this idiot woman arrogant and annoying?
Would it kill this bitch to smile every once in a while? God, it's like her bf keeps withholding sex from her, and she's extremely angry at him so she's taking out her frustration on everyone else.
What other 'jihadist rampages' have we had like Fort Hood since 9/11?? the fuck is she referring to? I'm pretty sure this is the first of its kind, at least recently.
@snipzor Bigots? 13 people are dead because of a ridiculous PC attitude. If you disagree with anything she said, please argue against that. But stop trying to censor people by labeling them as bigots. Political correctness is in direct conflict with free expression.
Prove to us that the actions committed were based in religious anger. While doing that, prove to me that the Christians who bomb abortion clinics DIDN'T do it in religious anger.
I enjoy the double standard you display. Not all Muslims are evil, and not all Christians are good. Thinking otherwise would be bigotry plain and simple.
But I am going to suspect that your while you are willing to blame our belief in a couple of the bill of rights is screwed up, your unquestioning belief in the second amendment can never be questioned.
You should drop your conception of me as a member of the religious right for there is nothing that could be further from the truth.
Political correctness is not based on any constitutional principle. In fact, it is a form of censorship and as such is in direct conflict with the spirit of the first amendment.
If Hasan's superiors would have been able to label him an Islamic radical, which he was, they could have discharged him. However their hands were tied, and their ideas suppressed, by PC.
The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.
A white supremacist would have been kicked out long ago. Hasan tried to contact al-Qaeda & he wasn't discharged. 13 people are dead today because of your political correctness bullshit
You're the bigot. You're the one who has stereotyped the army as "chock full of racists."
The fact is, the US military does not tolerate intolerance. If you knew anything about the military you would know that. Using ethnic slurs is grounds for dishonorable discharge & this policy is strictly enforced.
The lives of these men and women are on the hands of the politically correct movement.
Kinda sad how someone so cute can puke out such bullshit.

That country is Luxembourg.
Besides, I currently study in Bruxelles with around 25% muslims around here. Nevertheless, I've NEVER heard of any terror attack here.

As a Christian I am commanded by King Jesus to bless those who curse me(that means you liberals).
Muslims are commanded by Muhammed in the Koran to kill infidels(that means you liberals) where ever you(muslims) find them( that means you liberals).
A real Christian does not want innocent people to be murdered regardless of sex, age, creed, sex orientation, religion, and national origin.

The Koran tells adherants to kill!
spooderdoggy 2 years ago
Just like some of those of the crusades and inquisition who participate in these acts, are not true Christians, those who interpret parts of the Qur'an are not true Muslims.
And the fact that there are several verses in the Bible that do command killing, makes me wonder if you have read that book as well. If you want I can start filling this page with quotes. But, then you proceed to call me names? Your ignorance, hate, and immaturity makes you share the same qualities as Nidal Hasan.

Christians live by...cont.
spooderdoggy 2 years ago
cont...Christians live by God's Holy Spirit.
There is no such thing as....cont.
spooderdoggy 2 years ago
You tube ate my comment, so I will recap. Context is very important. Indeed there are two verses which give permission to kill in the Qur'an. One is if you are attacked, them come into your lands, and prevent you from practicing your religion, then and only then, may you defend yourself. Even then, you must grant asylum to any soldier who asks for it, and if they give up their attacks, you must stop. Under no circumstances should any innocent be killed and only attacking soldiers may be slain.
ristoril 2 years ago
The other, is a historical context in which a treating was broke, and they were betrayed by a group of people, and attacked by this group of people, and even then, the above rules apply.
ristoril 2 years ago
cont. no such thing as a coerced Christian faith.
However, this is not the case for Islam.
How do reconcile that Qur'anic scripture with Jesus who commands " bless those who curse you"?
spooderdoggy 2 years ago
Did you forget Qur'an 9:5?
Also, how do you reconcile Qur'an 9:5 with Jesus who commanded his followers to "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:44, 45a.
Muhammed never told muslims to bless those who curse them or did he say that muslims should love their enemies.

it is stated many times that God created life, it is sacred, and to destroy it is an abomination.

What they don't realize is holding onto hate causes them suffering while the ones who are balanced are just fine... unless of course they're attacked via violence. That Hasan acted according to his faith must be obvious to everyone whose brains haven't been rotted out by PC
BigPurple121 2 years ago
There are a billion Muslims in the world. If the official interpretation of the Koran was to kill all the non-believers, there'd be no non-Muslims left by now.
Any religion or ideology can be twisted into an instrument of hate. Islam just happens to be the flavor of the month for demagogues who want to bring about political change through terror. As I said yesterday, more than half of the total number of suicide bombers in modern history are Hindu Tamil Tigers fighting in Shri Lanka.
TrollBuster9090 2 years ago 6
So you believe Hasan's faith had nothing to do with this atrocity?
BigPurple121 2 years ago
Did I say that?
Scott Roeder murdered Dr. George Tiller in the name of Christianity. Does that mean Christianity is a religion of murder? No. It means some political demagogues have managed to convince people that murder can be justified through Christianity. But there's a difference between saying he used Christianity to justify murder, and Christianity advocates murder.
TrollBuster9090 2 years ago 3
I didn't say anything about Christianity. All religion is used to justify murder.
Hasan obviously would not have committed these murders if he were not religious. His superiors would have stopped him if it were not for PC.
BigPurple121 2 years ago
I know you didn't, I was just using it to illustrate the fact that any religion, not just Islam can be used as a justification for murder. So can any ideology, since people don't just kill in the name of religion.
Finally, by far the majority of people who kill do it for no religious or ideological reason at all. That's especially true for mentally unbalanced people.
People who crack up will look for a justification to kill. If they can't find one, they'll do it anyway.
TrollBuster9090 2 years ago 4
The point is Hasan was not discharged for explicitly supporting an ideology (radical Islam) that the US is currently at war with because said ideology is protected by political correctness.
It is ludicrous to think a NAZI supporter would have, or should have, been allowed to serve in Marshal's army. Similarly, if sufficient evidence is available that a Muslim is traitor his superiors should not have their hands tied by PC.
BigPurple121 2 years ago
We can agree on the first part, just not the second part. You're jumping to the conclusion that the Army was fully aware that he was a dangerous, unstable, militant Muslim radical, and wanted to discharge him but couldn't because of PC policy. I haven't seen any evidence for that, nobody takes PC policy that far. I think they just dropped the ball by failing to connect the dots. It wouldn't be the first time, and it won't be the last.
TrollBuster9090 2 years ago 4
Hasan was caught trying to contact Al-Qaeda; he openly conducted Islamic proselytization; he openly sided with Iraq & Afghanistan over the US.
I'm not saying any one of these, except for the attempt to contact Al-Qaeda, are in and of themselves enough for discharge. But they should been sufficient for investigation. It is clear Hasan's conduct was not addressed because of possible PC blow-back. In other words, if they had not been PC they would have discovered the extent of his radical nature.
BigPurple121 2 years ago
On a side note, the part about Hassan considering himself a Muslim first before a soldier is a laughable argument.
I remember sitting in a chapel for boot camp being told the following:
"God, Country, Corps"
PTurchan1 2 years ago
So they "missed" the fact that he was muslim? And "counted himself as muslim first and American second". As if they're exclusive. You can't be an American muslim?
And at the end there, where she talks about the SOA, saying THAT was proof of him not being able to serve. So now NO muslims can serve in the US forces? Wow.

I know Ill catch a bit of flack and Im a bit amazed myself, but I partially agree with some of what Malkin is saying in regards to the Army dropping the ball on Hasan. As facts are now being uncovered, it would appear that he was being drawn to the more radical nature of Islam and should have been considered a security risk; but the question still remains if he was drawn toward this mindset due to contradictions that existed between his faith and being asked to fight a war against the same.
wildpeachatl737 2 years ago

Perhpas you might want to give the matter more research and use those cognitive thinking skills before remarking again.
wildpeachatl737 2 years ago
You're not wrong. The Army and the FBI DID drop the ball on Hasan. However, the conservative noise machine is doing what it does best, and conflating two issues to try and slime a liberal ideal.
Yes, the Army dropped the ball and failed to notice this guy was potentially a dangerous, radical Muslim.
No, the Army (and the country in general) is NOT wrong to be committed to diversity, and to resist the prejudiced and knee-jerk temptation to lump all Muslims together with the radical ones.
TrollBuster9090 2 years ago 3
