I tried to kill a 98 2wd xe 5spd, and it just wouldn't have it. I took it off road all the time, can't tell you how many times i had to be pulled out. I drove that thing balls to the walls all the time. I even slid off the icey road into a bamboo farm, we pulled it out and drove it home, no problem. The alignment was a little off and the body was jacked up, but it just kept on goin. That thing had 223,000 miles on the stock clutch. It was never changed. I now have a 2006 CC 6spd 4x4 and love it.
That's awesome! Getting out there with the Jeeps! I love my Frontier CC, has 125,000 miles on it now and it has only been in the shop for regular maintenance. Still looks and drives almost like new. I just load it down and take it everywhere. Oh yeah, love these trucks!
As the owner of an '06 NISMO, after the drivetrain warranty runs out at 60,000 miles, good luck keeping it out of the shop. Nissan... Japanese for "in the shop again."..
``````````````````````````````````````` from my experience, you cant kill a Nissan, i had a ford truck that would go anywhere
but that ford was a piece of crap, it was in the shop all the time, I bought a Nissan Frontier 4x4, i go 4-wheeling in it all the time, it has never been in the shop, its an 02!
in high school i had a friend that had a Nissan with 170k it was still running good on the original transmission and engine, we went 4x4'ing all the time.... it finally broke down with him when he was 23, it had 397k on the same engine. then he sold it to a guy who put a used engine in it and he also changed the transmission, the guy is still driving it today for deer hunting.
I own a 2005 NISMO and I got it stuck in a big mud puddle for about 5 hours after 2 days of owning it. Thats what they're made for so put it to use right.
Why does it allways take 2 guys to go rock crawlin, why don't both just set out on foot? looks like the the first guy wins!
