Very very impressive! Makes me feel like enrolling in film school. Massimo Belardinelli was the original artist for slaine after the pilot episode and the first to depict a warp spasm. Fabry and David Pugh took over from him and Mike Mcmahon with 'Time Killer.' Check out 'slaine - warriors dawn' by rebellion mate.

Slaine is the best thing to come fromm 2000 ad in my opinion...Time Killer, warp spasm.... When he beat the type 4 battle orgot it was brilliant. Like the idea he would move through time and be famous warriors ( King Arthur and the like). Also two of the three best artists ever did this series.. Simon Bisly and Glenn Fabry. Would have like to have seen Massimo Belardinelli five it a go too! MAKE IT A FILM!!!!!

im an old school fan of Slain. Great preview. Like Hollywood, previews are one thing, the movie itself is another. Still, would be an interesting watch. Has that artistic '300' movie look too. Good work.

I seem to remember an artist from 2000ad describing Bisley's first Horned God cover as a

poster for a cinemascape movie.This,I feel would be that movie if it ever found funding.This short really does capture the essence of the comic.Hollywood ain't all that.

I believe it was released in a weekly comic of 2000AD.  Then as a 3 part graphic novel. Then in a hard cover as one book. Wish I bought that hardcover. There are also other Slain related storys, the new one very cool.

Yes I know.I had every issue of the origional episodes in 2000ad at one stage,plus I had book 2 in the graphic novel form.I haven't read 2000ad since rebeliion took over.The Dredd film kind of turned me off comics a few years back.But I occasionally sneak a peek to see what's happening.

That is a very good adaption.

Perhaps, a 'Slaine: Warriors Dawn' movie based on the novelisations now being written adpated from the original 2000AD series.
