Alex Rodrigues is the best drummer ever! He always mixes up drum beats through the whole song so it's not repetitive. He really does make it fun to play because all the songs are flashy and he is like no other drummer!!!!

@RyGuy029 I think its just drum mic clamps with regular condenser mic on them. I personally like condenser mics better than drum mics.

@alexfraley The mics hes used are what look to be sm-58's on the toms and a 57 on the snare. these are 'dynamic' microphones not condensers, condensers tend to be used as overhead mics to capture the high frequencies of the cymbals. However there are no specific 'drum mics', you can use whatever you want, although dynamic mics are much more rugged and can handle higher sound pressure without being damaged, where as most condenser mics are more sensitive.

@dmbfan041 Condenser mics are general use, i use them for micing the bass drum, and there are specific drum mics, you can buy kits with mics designed for certian drums. only problem with them is you can only get certian sounds out of them. And those look like condensers but I could be wrong. w/e either would work well.
