If you're on about the ones with unpainted panels then they are kept unpainted deliberatly to show that they are the removeable ones to allow wheelchairs to board. However a couple of the semi's always look shabby as they are the Dalegarth spares and are kept in the open
Ahha! Thats why, on the BVR we have special saloons, in closed carriages with space for wheel chairs and bikes. Some of our carriages look terrible at the moment but they are being over hauled currently.

Well we have special closed carriages for wheel chairs as well, its just that we also give them the choice of semi open as well
