@TheJmacaroni you've gotta copy the .cfg file to desktop etc.. edit it, save it, then delete the original in your FSX file, then paste the edited one in, hope this helps mate ! :D

I don't get it.

I followed those instructions AND those of the readme in the file.

As soon as I open the FDSFX panel I'm going to go blackscreen and crash to desktop with my FSX.

I tried this with a "Thomas Ruth" A330 and also with the default 737-800.

What the heck am I doing wrong?!

Ok i did everything u sed to me, when i went to view insturmental panels, the last option was something called something panel, that worked, it then brought up the panel (fsdfx thing) and i was able to click it. However when i did click it, no sound was appearing but only the click. i put the sound in b737 and in the main fsx sound folder. HELP!

FOR THOSE who are using windows 7 and get the error where u cant save and it says acess denied drag panel.cfg out to your desktop 'edit there save drag back in there you go hope i helped ;)

(continued) in FSX or FS2004 where you copied it from. the specific airplane you copied the panel from (important). when it says this file exists MAKE SURE you press COPY AND REPLACE. simple. if you followed his instructions in his READ ME it works.

it does work, even in FSX. I just ran it. You have to READ the READ ME. If it says access denied its because FSX is copyrighted. solution? simple... choose aircraft (in other words go all the way inside FSX to the plane you want) inside aircraft folder go to panel folder then see a panel cfg file (hover cursor over it, it says cfg) theres only one panel cfg inside panel folder. copy it. paste it in folder OUTSIDE of FSX/FS2004 like documents/recevied files. alter it like it says and repaste....

@Churuko77 it did this to me, right click and click propities, then security, then select your user or just all of them and change the ticks to "full control" then click on and it should work! :) THIS IS WINDOWS 7 SO I DONT KNOW IF ITS THE SAME ON XP OR 98 ETC. :)

When you search and find Flightdeck SFX, you'll get 2 choices, a Delta Version, and the Original. Now the 2nd choice is the one you want, BUT!!!!! first look at the Delta Version's description and it should give you a link to sound gauges and files!!!
