Shazam is so much better, i just used it to pick up the first song and it found it within 10 sec..it works in clubs as well and can tell when songs r remixes

the only thing with Shazam is u cant hum and look for a song...and also, u need to wait 'till the Shazam app is done listening which takes 10 secs.

midomi is much faster and u can stop it after 3-4 sec

it can only find the more common songs but can't find the more obscure songs and those are the ones you really want to find out.

Yes.  With the headphones with the built in mic box.

yes but ipod doesn't have a mic. So you have to buy one if you have a ipod touch. The iphone got a mic :) I'm using shazam but this is probably good too!
