I have always been a huge fan of the original production. I had the honor of seeing the revival cast back in 2004, and Gary Beach was phenomenal! Not to be cynical of this new version, but from what I'm seeing here and in other videos on youtube, I must say I am very disappointed. The costumes are not very attractive I feel. I've never liked "updating" too much. I'm all for a "reinterpretation" of a classic, but not the point that you lose the glamour and heart of the original.

I guess it's just me, but the dancing was a bit of a hot mess. I think the energy was just a little too high and it came across as a tad spazzy. They are all truly stunning though. They look much better in bikinis then I probably ever will and I'm a woman! Work.
