I like having 22 episode seasons I hate every show to have just 12, the writers should be given time to write the episodes in advance. so finish writing the season then start shooting them or at least finish the lions share of the writing. i think they write the first 4-5 episodes and then shooting begins. by the fall some episodes are airing, some are being shot and some beingn written.
I'm sorry but I thought heroes was awesome. Season two was not good and if that alone was heroes in a nutshell then I would not have been surprised they cancelled it, but it got good again in my opinion. Season 1 3 and 4 were great.

Prison Break was the perfect example of giving a show a chance dispite what you think the writers could not overcome. For example you think the story won't have much of a plot after the prison break, but they pulled it off and all four season were just pure awesome. So don't cut shows after a first season thinking that it could be bad, because the story 95% of the time turns out to be better than before. If were on the topic of cancelled shows, bring back Stargate: Atlantis!!! Or make a movie!

The only reason I watched NBC was for heroes haven't watched a tv show since. Besides a writers strike happened in between season two so It was not as devolped as it could have been. Flash forward I loved too.
I really was disappointed to hear that FlashForward was cancelled. In my opinion, it was the only TV show that kinda had shot of making it big, it was engaging, addicting and had the right amount of suspense, mystery etc. It was the only legitimate successor to LOST! But what you said makes sense, those actors and the studio work into making FlashForward is probably pretty expensive, a lot of well known actors are in that show! Nonetheless, I would like to see it back! The Even is terrible!

Gave up halfway through Season 2? Dude.... You can't judge a series if you haven't watched them all. Watching a Train Wreck? Heroes is one of the most Amazing shows ever made and it never lost my attention... Even how many times sylar died and came back.. I wanted to see what he did as a good man.. Do you know what... i actually thought season 3 of heroes was a vast improvement on season 2 which just sucked. i gave up after the first few episodes of season 4, but im going to watch the entire show again from 1-4, because despite its decline in quality i enjoyed the characters so im going to give it another go.

well its understandable that heroes got canceled.. i loved that show but ever since there epic downfall of the writers strike heroes never really picked it self up.. i mean the show was AMAZING and it seemed like a show that could keep on going but that wrtiers strike ruined it for them and a few other shows thats y like the last few seasons really tanked, its all because they dont have the original writers.. although i do wish they had at least one more season to give it a proper ending :/

One of my favourite tv programs ever was The original uk Life on Mars( Maybe its because im from the uk) and all they made was 2 seasons, with 8 episodes in each season. It had the perfect amount of episodes, and too many it probably would have outstayed its welcome.

flashforward vs v i think that flashforward should have won because it has somewhere to go but v has ended because you know how it is going to end and that would take maybe 2 or 3 ep's unless they per long and that would make it boring i am glad that Fringe is still there because it is the best one but sad for flashforward.

I respect people's opinions, but I need to ask, what exactly was so horrible about season 2 of Heroes? I personally liked it, but probably a major component was because of Kristen Bell's character introduction, I wasn't too crazy about Hiro's trip to the past story arch though

season one of heroes was good, season two was terrible but there was the whole writers strike in hollywood, season 3 was good with the peter's dad but the hero tales were a waist of time, the whole fugitives was a great idea i think but the last season with samual was terrible imo, too many side stories and turns to end with such a simple ending, was a good one though, gave a lot of hope to look forward to the new season but it was cancled but i guess it leaves the fans with their imagenation.
lost's had already an ending writen from the beginning and they actually said after S3 that 3 seasons r left >.< with exactly 48 episodes....but of course they edit the story for new characters new changes etc

I think Heroes would have worked better if they didn't have everything happened in the first season. Where do we go from this point? Some people blamed the writers' strike, but the show's demise was not having a finishing point planned to create more focus on what it was doing. Lost was having the same problems during its third season and decided that it wasn't going to be "lost" and planned out the final three seasons and it worked out great for them(even if people didn't like the finale)

I hated that they cancelled Dollhouse so soon, and Flash Forward had a bad start but it did kinda redeem itself to the end. Fringe is good, it will never replace LOST, but its fun.

in my opinion, flashforward spent too much time doing flashbacks and the story suddenly became stuck and nothing really major would happen for 2 episodes or so. V had a great season finale but during the season some of the episodes would drag on. I'll pray for V.

@odcode I really liked terminator! Very disappointed when it was cancelled! I liked Dollhouse and flashforward in that order, but never watched them a lot. I agree that Flash could have really been big had they made it more easy to watch for new viewers, I really liked the cast and story behind it.

As much as I love Heroes, they should end it. I stuck it all the way through. But it didn't have a plot line to have another season, without making one up. So I think it's fine now to end it. For me, the second half of season three of heroes was fantastic but only volume 1 and 4 were good. you can't have that with a tv show. Flashforward definitely should have stayed. I don't know why people didn't like it, lol. I actually loved it.
Flashfoward is 100 times better then "V",V's boring and sometimes forgettable and Flashfoward is exciting,dramatic, unpredictable and very intelligent.

I really don't like the fact the blonde girl was really smart about the Heroes comment. Rather if "wasn't surprising" or not there are still a nation of ppl, domestic and oversears, that love the show. Furthermore, Season 4 was one the best seasons and you could tell by the writing. Heroes go the short end of the stick when the writers strike happened...and then that digital conversion. Also, Heroes ended in a great way after season 1.
Heroes needed to end, it couldnt recover after the lackluster season 2 and awful season 3. Although the death of Nathan and how it was handled was interesting, I feel theres nothing more to tell. Flashfoward still remains interesting although I never got into it deeply as I did Lost. Like Prison Break and Heroes, Flashfoward's days were numbered. The shows I will miss are 24 and Lost. Im still Missing Sarah Connor and Dollhouse. Each could have done with 1 or 2 seasons more.

Prison Break was the perfect example of giving a show a chance dispite what you think the writers could not overcome. For example you think the story won't have much of a plot after the prison break, but they pulled it off and all four season were just pure awesome. So don't cut shows after a first season thinking that it could be bad, because the story 95% of the time turns out to be better than before. If were on the topic of cancelled shows, bring back Stargate: Atlantis!!! Or make a movie!

Heroes was awesome!!! Sure the fourth season was kind of a strech, but heroes always ended up really good and the actors was great. The only reason I watched NBC was for heroes haven't watched a tv show since. Besides a writers strike happened in between season two so It was not as devolped as it could have been. Flash forward I loved too.

I really was disappointed to hear that FlashForward was cancelled. In my opinion, it was the only TV show that kinda had shot of making it big, it was engaging, addicting and had the right amount of suspense, mystery etc. It was the only legitimate successor to LOST! But what you said makes sense, those actors and the studio work into making FlashForward is probably pretty expensive, a lot of well known actors are in that show! Nonetheless, I would like to see it back! The Even is terrible!

Gave up halfway through Season 2? Dude.... You can't judge a series if you haven't watched them all. Watching a Train Wreck? Heroes is one of the most Amazing shows ever made and it never lost my attention... Even how many times sylar died and came back.. I wanted to see what he did as a good man.. Do you know what... If Lost can get loads and loads of series and such a simple concept.. Why cant heroes get more series out of such a brilliant concept? Thumbs up if you agree.

@IGNsucks Did they get sued? No, Because the way the theme was carried out was different. At the end of the day, Its not a superhero series. Its about individuals who discover they have powers. Yes a common concept but most films with this concept (Spiderman, Superman bla bla etc etc) Start off the same way. The fact is the reason you would get sued for using Lost's concept is because it was unique. While stuff to do with the supernatural is not.

Xmen was about people who discover that they have powers and are likely the next step in human evolution, heroes was a show about THE SAME THING.

FlashForwad was good if you take out some of the corny side stories & REDUNDANT arguments (if you seen the future can you change it, why would you change your destiny, how can you change destiny) Fuck that bullshit.
I knew about mid-way the show was going to be a a train-wreck.
Take the whole: lesbian wanting to get pregnant so she fucks the Asian, Mark going insane & being a douche, and constant pile on of twists and it is certainly watchable.

i actually thought season 3 of heroes was a vast improvement on season 2 which just sucked. i gave up after the first few episodes of season 4, but im going to watch the entire show again from 1-4, because despite its decline in quality i enjoyed the characters so im going to give it another go.

well its understandable that heroes got canceled.. i loved that show but ever since there epic downfall of the writers strike heroes never really picked it self up.. i mean the show was AMAZING and it seemed like a show that could keep on going but that wrtiers strike ruined it for them and a few other shows thats y like the last few seasons really tanked, its all because they dont have the original writers.. although i do wish they had at least one more season to give it a proper ending :/

One of my favourite tv programs ever was The original uk Life on Mars( Maybe its because im from the uk) and all they made was 2 seasons, with 8 episodes in each season. It had the perfect amount of episodes, and too many it probably would have outstayed its welcome.

I respect people's opinions, but I need to ask, what exactly was so horrible about season 2 of Heroes? I personally liked it, but probably a major component was because of Kristen Bell's character introduction, I wasn't too crazy about Hiro's trip to the past story arch though

season one of heroes was good, season two was terrible but there was the whole writers strike in hollywood, season 3 was good with the peter's dad but the hero tales were a waist of time, the whole fugitives was a great idea i think but the last season with samual was terrible imo, too many side stories and turns to end with such a simple ending, was a good one though, gave a lot of hope to look forward to the new season but it was cancled but i guess it leaves the fans with their imagenation.

I think Heroes would have worked better if they didn't have everything happened in the first season. Where do we go from this point? Some people blamed the writers' strike, but the show's demise was not having a finishing point planned to create more focus on what it was doing. Lost was having the same problems during its third season and decided that it wasn't going to be "lost" and planned out the final three seasons and it worked out great for them(even if people didn't like the finale)

Heroes 1=awesome
Heroes 2=good key moments but major plot holes (unresolved issues)
Heroes 3&4=Started off fast paced, major twists and brilliant concepts but lacked the boldness to change, to dive into power exposure.
Heroes 5=ended the way 3 should've, only now Heroes 6 will be rushed as a movie/mini-series to conclude the show.

I really like the way they express their opinion, I completely agree on practically everything they said.
I hated that they cancelled Dollhouse so soon, and Flash Forward had a bad start but it did kinda redeem itself to the end. There were a few great episodes and FF was definitely better than some shows they kept on for years, like (sorry guys) Heroes. For me Heroes was over the moment they screw up their final in season 1.
Fringe is good, it will never replace LOST, but its fun.

in my opinion, flashforward spent too much time doing flashbacks and the story suddenly became stuck and nothing really major would happen for 2 episodes or so. V had a great season finale but during the season some of the episodes would drag on. I'll pray for V.

You guys should definitely watch Chuch... it's such a good show and they don't really make shows with that kind of feel to it anymore.

I'm still sad about 24, (but understand why they did it) and so I'm watching Fringe and..Warehouse! Yay taco run!! Super excited about their premiere again on June 6th!!

@odcode What's wrong with Terminator and Dollhouse? They were really good Sci Fi Shows. Both V and FlashForward are horrible.
While we aren't the most popular YouTube channel but we do have videos with more than 2K views. If we aren't to your taste, then go somewhere else and cry somewhere else.

@odcode I really liked terminator! Very disappointed when it was cancelled! I liked Dollhouse and flashforward in that order, but never watched them a lot. I agree that Flash could have really been big had they made it more easy to watch for new viewers, I really liked the cast and story behind it.
V is just ok..but I think they're doing a really good job on the sets becuz I never noticed that they were mostly all cg until you guys brought it up (unlike Caprica or Sanctuary)!

I was still expecting Heroes to saved from it's own doomed. I liked it. Yeah season 2 sucked but I liked season 3. Season 4 was a bit lame but not as much as season 2.
I like V for the fact that the writers make the visitors very cruel villains. Flashforward was alright imo.

They have an idea on how it is going to run, but, when ratings start to dwindle and their season episode counts get lower, they have to adapt. And that's why they probably think that the show was "meandering." Bring FF back! Goyer knows the last shot of the series finale.

As much as I love Heroes, they should end it. I stuck it all the way through. But it didn't have a plot line to have another season, without making one up. So I think it's fine now to end it. For me, the second half of season three of heroes was fantastic but only volume 1 and 4 were good. you can't have that with a tv show. Flashforward definitely should have stayed. I don't know why people didn't like it, lol. I actually loved it.

Flashfoward is 100 times better then "V",V's boring and sometimes forgettable and Flashfoward is exciting,dramatic, unpredictable and very intelligent.
Fringe i herd about never really caught my interest.

PRAISE HEYZEUS Heroes is GONE. Season one was pretty cool but then after about 2 episodes of season 2, i'm pretty sure everyone was so over that shit. Panettiere wasn't a very impressive actress either... Good riddance! =)

ok season 2 of heroes was wth but season three was good! they were holding them hostage! season 4 was mostly claire and sylar finding themselves. kinda boring but it made me still want 2 watch SAMUEL he was awesome!

Flashforward - It started great, then got really silly. Like, if my uncle tortured me and cut off my finger, no way is he coming to dinner and getting a hug lol. Now its become a cast of moles. :(
Heroes - CYA! First season was great with a handful of them, but sucks with 90% of the world with powers, yet, no one knows about them? riiiight. The 4400 was way better.
Chuck - I dont watch it regularly but the few i saw i liked it.

I really don't like the fact the blonde girl was really smart about the Heroes comment. Rather if "wasn't surprising" or not there are still a nation of ppl, domestic and oversears, that love the show. Furthermore, Season 4 was one the best seasons and you could tell by the writing. Heroes go the short end of the stick when the writers strike happened...and then that digital conversion. Also, Heroes ended in a great way after season 1.

Heroes needed to end, it couldnt recover after the lackluster season 2 and awful season 3. Although the death of Nathan and how it was handled was interesting, I feel theres nothing more to tell. Flashfoward still remains interesting although I never got into it deeply as I did Lost. Like Prison Break and Heroes, Flashfoward's days were numbered. The shows I will miss are 24 and Lost. Im still Missing Sarah Connor and Dollhouse. Each could have done with 1 or 2 seasons more.
