FC2 had so many bugs.. like anything that its speed is higher than 700 kts (or kmh, idk, but whatever it unit it displays when u push F2 for outside view) has no afterburner sound (especially rockets, since they fly at like 1,200 - 2000) and all player planes. also no tutorial videos (u have to download every single 1) and if im not wrong, in FC2 only Su-25 had ground physics. and in FC1 (if i remember right) all planes had physics.
As much fun as this sim is, in reality the US doesnt build planes dogfight. We build them to kill. The F15 retains its record for being undefeated in air-to-air combat during its service in the US arsenal because it never dogfights. It simply fires a BVR missile and kills the enemy from miles away.

In my humble opinion this dogfight would be decided as much by pilot skill, as it would be by the merits of the aircraft.
Nevertheless they are 2 excellent aircraft perfectly suited to gaining air superiority, and I imagine any F-15 pilot would be the first to admit he would not like to meet an SU-27 and of course visa versa

@JizzTechCo The max G's a pilot will pull will most likely be 12G's at like an airshow or for a stunt. but Death will acour after about 1 minute of pulling 16G's which is the max the human body will substain. and a G suit will help you cope with the amount of G's. but for pullin negative G's you can only handle 2-3 -G's because you will get a red out which is all the blood rushin to your head and your capilaries bursting from the huge increase in blood pressure.

Can someone please help me with a Lock On technical problem?
I bought LOMAC and shortly after running it discovered that for some reason it is horribly glitched. For one, reflections of terrain appear all over the sky at random unless I fly at very high altitude. Furthermore, all the planes are pitch-black except for the afterburners and the view from the cockpit is horribly obscured be the jet-black glitch.
@mouloudo I chose the word sim because the word 'game' would apply to any game no matter how realistic. And i want realistic gameplay. Like that HAWX game, its fun to play but not realistic really. You see an A-10 turning nose to tail like an f22 and think wtf?

@slapyousilly3 Ya they are both not that realistic. The sounds need to be better and have better graphics and physics too. Falcon 4.0 for the PC. (a home computer f-16 sim) was amazing. Litteraly every button in the cockpit had a function and there were a bagillion.
Press any key of 3-6. Get the enemy aircraft in the corresponding area according to which button you push. Press TAB, then you are locked on to the enemy plane. Keep him in the HUD, and press space.
If I were you, i would take a look at the in-game tutorials.
Hey--cool vid. I love LockOn--have been using it for over a year. One thing--lately I'm getting quite a few game crashes--especially it seems if I am doing something that involves getting a warning from the aircraft or maybe the tower as well. Or the plane may stop responding to input, go into the water, and then keep going, at which point I use TM to exit. It is LOFC 1.12--all patched. Any ideas what could be the cause?

The planes in Lockon (russian and US) require constant trimming whenever the speed changes. Faster speeds give increased lift and slower speeds decrease lift. These speed increases or decreases are most notable when climbing or diving.
nah, FLaming Cliffs uses starforce protection right? and i fucking hate starforce, never works on vista and stays inside the comp after a uninstall.....
Everybody hates Starforce ---- but with FC you only have to put the cd in once every 10 days to validate your install. It is not really a big problem. You gain more than you loose by installing FC.
Also you can purchase Fc on E-Bay for $20. That is pretty cheap considering what you get for your money. FC is a whole new sim and far better than just the Lockon install. You will not regret it.
I have a comment on the game though. The SU-33's canards seems to be moving incorrectly. When I pull the joystick back, the canards move downward, much like the elevators.
I am not a pilot or an aeronautical engineer but I think they should move in opposite direction since the plane's center of gravity is in between those two control surfaces. Is there any way I can correct this? Thanks.

@JizzTechCo The max G's a pilot will pull will most likely be 12G's at like an airshow or for a stunt. but Death will acour after about 1 minute of pulling 16G's which is the max the human body will substain. and a G suit will help you cope with the amount of G's. but for pullin negative G's you can only handle 2-3 -G's because you will get a red out which is all the blood rushin to your head and your capilaries bursting from the huge increase in blood pressure.

Can someone please help me with a Lock On technical problem?
I bought LOMAC and shortly after running it discovered that for some reason it is horribly glitched. For one, reflections of terrain appear all over the sky at random unless I fly at very high altitude. Furthermore, all the planes are pitch-black except for the afterburners and the view from the cockpit is horribly obscured be the jet-black glitch.
Can someone please tell me how can I fix it?

@mouloudo I chose the word sim because the word 'game' would apply to any game no matter how realistic. And i want realistic gameplay. Like that HAWX game, its fun to play but not realistic really. You see an A-10 turning nose to tail like an f22 and think wtf?

@slapyousilly3 Ya they are both not that realistic. The sounds need to be better and have better graphics and physics too. Falcon 4.0 for the PC. (a home computer f-16 sim) was amazing. Litteraly every button in the cockpit had a function and there were a bagillion.

Press any key of 3-6. Get the enemy aircraft in the corresponding area according to which button you push. Press TAB, then you are locked on to the enemy plane. Keep him in the HUD, and press space.
If I were you, i would take a look at the in-game tutorials.

Hey--cool vid. I love LockOn--have been using it for over a year. One thing--lately I'm getting quite a few game crashes--especially it seems if I am doing something that involves getting a warning from the aircraft or maybe the tower as well. Or the plane may stop responding to input, go into the water, and then keep going, at which point I use TM to exit. It is LOFC 1.12--all patched. Any ideas what could be the cause?

To answer your question, check you computer's specs. Something may have changed by something getting downloaded to the computer. That's the best I can do. If I were you, I'd post/look on some forums instead of youtube.

can some one please tell me if this is a bug or just a shitty game....
when i fly any russian aircraft, and when i reach like 800 km/h +, then it starts to climp up with the nose pointing up, and soon its standing 90 degrees horisontal,
it really sucks and just happens with russian aircraft, not american, is this the way it should be, please help guys!

The planes in Lockon (russian and US) require constant trimming whenever the speed changes. Faster speeds give increased lift and slower speeds decrease lift. These speed increases or decreases are most notable when climbing or diving.

nah, FLaming Cliffs uses starforce protection right? and i fucking hate starforce, never works on vista and stays inside the comp after a uninstall.....

Everybody hates Starforce ---- but with FC you only have to put the cd in once every 10 days to validate your install. It is not really a big problem. You gain more than you loose by installing FC.
Also you can purchase Fc on E-Bay for $20. That is pretty cheap considering what you get for your money. FC is a whole new sim and far better than just the Lockon install. You will not regret it.

Best Lock On video on Tube!
I have a comment on the game though. The SU-33's canards seems to be moving incorrectly. When I pull the joystick back, the canards move downward, much like the elevators.
I am not a pilot or an aeronautical engineer but I think they should move in opposite direction since the plane's center of gravity is in between those two control surfaces. Is there any way I can correct this? Thanks.
