We chose this type of shock mainly due to it's low height and because, for our car, it still offers a good response dynamically. What you see behind the shock is the cables from our LVDT, wich measures the shock's displacement.

Thank you! The shifter is an electronic one, made by Pingel. It cuts it cuts the ignition, giving us clutchless upshifts.

why did you choose a mtb shock instead of a shock made for motorsports? i see wires around the shcok, is the damping electronically controlled?

Sim, as mudanças são nos botões que vês no volante ;)
O melhor tempo que o FST-03 até agora fez foi na casa dos 55s.

Does your car double-clutch automatically or did Pedro really apply this smooth downshifting all alone?
I'm truly impressed how hard he went with the car out there, which is not supposed to be driven at those average speeds.
We nearly had Timo Glock drive our car last season but he finally had some sponsoring issues because of the Opel sticker :(

Nop, it hasn't double-clutch, it was all Pedro's downshifting technique =)
At the end, Pedro told us he didn't push the car to the limit, but still it was very impressive driving!
(For that, you guys should consider asking Opel for more money, lol :p)
