This was the original Clan Of Xymox. Pieter Nooten, Anke Wolbert and Frank Weyzig were involved. Pieter wrote most of the more memorable music from this era. In my IMO, after Phoenix was released, nothing with the "Xymox" name on it has even come close to the feel and sound of the early stuff. It also seems that Ronny has taken all the credit for any influence Pieter or Anke had on the original songs. If you haven't heard, check out Pieter's album "Sleeps With The Fishes" with Michael Brook.
