Wonderful! I lived a few blocks away on Waller Street in the 70's and would drop in for brisket and sausage when I didn't have my own. The cavers in our enclave were not usual customers, but us local Austinites (GP up on Alamo Street) came in fairly often if we had any money and were tired of beans and tortillas. I remember the Funkadelic Shack had closed around the corner. A couple times, Jimmy Vaughn 's brother and I would nod at each other coming and going. It looks like the old days. Thanks

Been going there since 1980. No one makes BBQ like the Mays family. Love that sausage and mutton!
