Well I agrre with the defensive statement but i think even with a bad offense UF's D would still be at least decent. As far as Harvin and Ingram I agree but I think Tebow will be the bust (Jesse Palmer, Rex, Wuerffel) not Spikes. And thats a big reason I think FSU will beat Miami this year because a knew OC. A new system is very hard to learn, especially when youre the youngest team in the country. It will take a couple games for UM's offense to settle but it will happen.

i dont know what impact it will have for them to lose percy harvin, they just brought in Andre Debose, he's just as good if not better if he can duplicate the work ethic, they also brought in nick alajaijan or whatever his name was, the best offensive lineman in the state of florida last year, however losing 4 starting linemen will always be a major blow, doesnt matter who u are, that hurts. gators wide receiver core is still decent, i'd be more worried about fsu's receivers if i were u lol.
Yea but theyve been turning in some big plays this spring. Some good signs but we have all the tools needed on offense. A young yet experience O-line, same with Ponder and coaches have said he's made major improvements on last year, two athletic running backs who have had a great spring so far, leaving the wide recievers who do need some experience but just like the U's offense they should be ready on gameday.

Hey, it goes to prove that ANYONE, no matter your talent or ability, can have such moments in their life and/or career. I could write my observation that it also appears that basic physics was at work here, in that ST was motionless to begin with, and Jones was moving at full tilt, and well, you know what happens in such a scenario (Jones deserves some props too). However, I believe my aforementioned statement is what we should truly take from this video. RIP Sean Taylor, God Bless you.

@GUMMYBEAYUH Yes that's true, but ST was known for exploding into folks very quickly Good hip thrust/explosion allows you to deliver a big hit in a tight space. Some guys are very good at this which is what makes them good hitters. It would have been nice to see these 2 at full speed though. They are 2 great college players! R.I.P. ST

Every safety gets ran over at some point, it's just a part of football..Just like every great back gets lit up at least once in their career..Sean got trucked on this play, but it still doesn't take away from the fact that he was a one of a kind talent, arguably one that could have completely changed the game, had it not been for his passing..

The canes won this games, but the noles were dominating throughout the majority of the game, Greg Jones had close to 200 rushing yds by halftime, but he damn noles decided to go away from what was working, and that was running the damn ball down their throat. That game made me sick to my stomach., but it is what it is!!!!

Now as far as Florida's schedule i 100% agree. UF has no excuse to put sorry teams on their schedule in a conference that actually wasnt all that special this year. Bama and UF were the only good teams. I would be surprised if UF has any decent opponents outside FSU and the occasional UM game.

actually this upcoming season is tebow's senior year so i doubt it actually takes a full 2-3 years for ufag to take a major dropoff in the quality of their team, with such an easy schedule i wouldnt be surprised for ufag to win it all again this year but then tebow's gone and what they Had in a decent backup (cam newton aka laptop Theif) has been kicked off the team and recruits are beginning to see thru urbie's Crap so yes it really is only a matter of time b4 Miami and fsu are top 5 every year

other than the game against choklahomo, never been impressed with ufag's defense, they thrive because the offense is really good, gives the defense long breaks and rarely makes them defend a short field (i hope this is the case with Miami this year now that we have a Real OC and he has something to work with) their best defensive player is probably spikes and mark my words he will be an nfl BUST on the other hand i think ingram, harvin and tebow will do great in the nfl. the defense? not so much

and yea tell me about it, ufag's schedule is almost always a Joke, they run away from scheduling miami and they'd probably do the same to fsu if they didnt make a lawsuit out of it (why didnt we think of that?!) their excuse is "we play in the sec" but that doesnt ever stop them from making room on their "tough" schedule for the citadel or montana state every year. it's been almost 20 years since florida has scheduled a legit out of confrence opponent outside the state of florida.

Well I agrre with the defensive statement but i think even with a bad offense UF's D would still be at least decent. As far as Harvin and Ingram I agree but I think Tebow will be the bust (Jesse Palmer, Rex, Wuerffel) not Spikes. And thats a big reason I think FSU will beat Miami this year because a knew OC. A new system is very hard to learn, especially when youre the youngest team in the country. It will take a couple games for UM's offense to settle but it will happen.

Tebow is very talented but his game relies too much on a physical running style and a momentum builing presence. Something that doesnt look to successful in the pros. Yea and i feel ya on the burned out D. That happened to FSU all the time. Now that our offense can acyually get first downs it showed in our defense too. And you know now that I think about it dont you think UF's offense will take a major blow by losing Harvin, Murphy, and 4 starting linemen?

i dont know what impact it will have for them to lose percy harvin, they just brought in Andre Debose, he's just as good if not better if he can duplicate the work ethic, they also brought in nick alajaijan or whatever his name was, the best offensive lineman in the state of florida last year, however losing 4 starting linemen will always be a major blow, doesnt matter who u are, that hurts. gators wide receiver core is still decent, i'd be more worried about fsu's receivers if i were u lol.

Yea but theyve been turning in some big plays this spring. Some good signs but we have all the tools needed on offense. A young yet experience O-line, same with Ponder and coaches have said he's made major improvements on last year, two athletic running backs who have had a great spring so far, leaving the wide recievers who do need some experience but just like the U's offense they should be ready on gameday.

yea i saw that guy in the all american game, he Stunk it up in the game but i guess the fact that he even made it to the game and played in it speaks for itself he has 2b atleast decent. and yea tb3 is best used as a returner and quiet as its kept so is graig cooper, travis isnt that great of a receiver and cooper isnt that great of a running back but they are both very dangerous as returners and now that we're finally deep at receiver and running back maybe we can let them do what they do best

But youre right just give those 2 the oppurtunity to get into the open feild and they can do wonders. cooper's alright i mean he's our leading rusher these last 2 year's straight but given how we've been doing these last 2 years that doesnt say much, he's not an every down back i like him much better on special teams than i do in the backfield, i trust mark whipple to work wonders though, i mean he's coached the steelers and the eagles to and through the playoffs so i can't wait to see what he does with my Canes, and i agree, there's nothing better than a top 5 matchup between the Canes and fsu

ours was last weekend, the final score was offense 52 defense 3 u can find highlights on youtube somewhere to see exactly how it went, damien berry earned himself his fair share of playing time at the rb spot as did fr. mike james, kendall thompkins and tommy streeter are both up and coming wide receivers who missed last year, d line is great lbs inconsistent dbs still a concern there's a few frosh coming this summer that hopefully will have an early impact, at the very least provide competition

Miami's offense will be Good 2 Go come labor day, we're not dealing with patrick nix who took 2 years to install 50% of his playbook we have mark whipple who took 2 months to install 90%, the only challenge in this offense running smoothly now is getting used to new terminology which shouldnt be a big problem 5 months from now but the defense is still a concern and probably still will be come labor day but they wont burn out due to lack of rest from the offense always going 3 n out like last yr
