Use MagicJack App to make free calls to USA/Canda

is there any app that allows me to make a phone call from my ipod touch even if i want to call somebody who doesn't live in the States or in Canada? For example,a resident in Europe

That is not how it works!! iPhone App users need an access code. You have to dial the access code, your MJ numer, then the number you want to call. Real pain in the ass.

How come mine is not working? It keeps on loading. And when I dial numbers, it will load again and it says it will take few secs to free calls. Why is that happening?

@TheLatinking332 Your friend will pay (or use minutes) for receiving calls, but it is not different from receiving any other call. There are no long-distance charges for receiving calls.

I love m.j. but bro, BIG QUESTION [since my minutes ran out] are the calls unlimited? like no minutes? Because it sounds too good to be true. I just passed the offer of a droid.. to use m.j on my old 4s.

@MrHowToManiac Yes, indeed MagicJack does not use your local minutes as the calls are made over wifi/3G.

Just a heads up people, it only works with one telephone number. I had a temp magic jack number until I ported my old number. Would not work with new number. It apparently keys the data and stores it somewhere. What a piece of garbage.
