@seanseng61: There's too much steel in it. It wouldn't collapse upon itself without using enough explosive to pulverize all the walls. It's easier to just chew it up a piece at a time.

supposedly Hitachi bought John Deere and and took all of jd's designs n specs...so there parts n everything r the name...im not a fan of any of the jap companies really except for komatsu...but if this is a john deere wearing gook clothing i then i like it ! awesome video

@stevesai john deere bought out hitachi because their machines wern't holding up, they build some right up the road from me, only difference is a little look, paint and engine, Deere actually has good excavators now

@BradyHill1 Dude, only reason they are Deere is because the americans would not buy them. Hitachi is still Hitachi, Deere is just a Hitachi with different paint to get some americans to buy their machines.

@E30TURBOS38 I am an american, i own 2 Hitachi excavators, I would buy Hitachi over Deere even though they are almost the same, the Hitachi seems to get better fuel economy to me and the parts are the same, alot of times i order hitachi parts and get deere parts when they come in, like i said, john deere bought out Hitachi because John Deere couldn't make a machine worth a shit, most of our Deere delalers are also Hitachi dealers and they even say the engine is the only difference
