I heard the word savage labeled upon someone. I was like I did that once. Okay, not that you care. Me and my friend were sitting in a restraut in Port Angeles, WA and we looked over at a table were a little kid sat licking the ketsup off his French Fries (Freedom Fries, Freedom Whore, Whore Fries, ect. ect. It wasn't all tobacco alcohol and guns I hope, thank god for the revolutions that came after this event and changed the way business was handled in those days a little. They still go after the money and the power, but with some wisdom and the written words of so many (writing came from the north of Africa just in case some don't know), we are beginning to see through them, that's why it is harder to get into certain organisations I suppose.

I tried to read Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, but couldn't finish it because it horrified and depressed me. All I can say is that it is believed that 2% of the worlds population are psychopathic, they are hard to catch even today, but they are losing the war, but nothing can change the past. They will get their come upance soon just from a peaceful world. They hate the peace, they can't hide in it anymore. Time to put a kurb on ourselves me thinks.

@TallPoe The trick is to read it like you would any history book. It's very dry, and reads like that anyway. Pick the tribes you'd like to learn about the most as a preview. Don't take it emotionally, but think about the bullshit version of history that you were taught in school.
Don't get depressed. Get angry. Use the anger to educate other people about how history's been completely "whitewashed", just like a lot of other topics. Continue to look outside of euro-centric philosophy. Peace.

I agree, we got columbus day, but we don't have Cochies or Sequoya day, Quanna Parker, Geronimo weekend or anything like that, and the blacks have MLK day and a few others, they have black month, spanish month, and months for all the others, but not for our kind, why is that? This song always gives me chills at the beginning and tears at the end. Yet the end makes me feel stronger. My father played this through out my childhood, and it is ingrained in my soul. One of the saddest albums made, what a tribute to a great Warrior. Well done JD Blackfoot. This album was recorded in Auckland NZ as it was probably too controversial to be recorded in the States in the early 70s. Same thing happened in NZ to the Natives.
