I am not at home computer now but I am pretty sure it is an addon so you put it in your garrysmod/garrysmod/addons/ folder. For getting your videos to YouTube you just need whatever video program you can create a decent quality compressed video from. I can't remember what options VDub has right now though. If you are using Source Recorder than yeah, VDub is what you would use to save out your video but not sure if that will be ready for YouTube. :)

Thanks cannedshoes! We sometimes use a camera called Catmull-Rom Cinematic Cameras and sometimes we just hold the camera. We usually just use the console command setexpressionoverride for NPC scenes. You can always check out our website, we plan to expand our tutorials section and we have a simple forum set up now.

The current version on this teaser was recorded with Sony Acid Pro 7.0 with piano sound from a Korg N264 keyboard and a vintage Farfisa from the late 60's. I am ,however, rerecording the song in a studio at a friend's house from scratch using Logic Pro 7. Logic is SPENDY but definitely an amazing recording program for real instruments as well as midi.

Seriously no problem redcogproductions! Happy to see others interested! I think maybe it is because we don't use the auto extraction method. The only things I think you should fix are some of the textures (lab coats an the car) which are to bright and unrealistic... Except for that, great work!

We realized that the lab coat color was too bright once loaded into the map so we are trying to use lighting effects in premiere to hopefully tone it down a little bit. As for the car, we have so few cars that we can use that players can sit in and actually drive while sitting up. Other cars that work that way have been put to use in other scenes. We are just going to keep tweaking lights and hopefully get a good balance. Thanks for the input.

Hi splintersim4! Actually Shelf Life is not related to the Half Life story or Portal so no worries there. :) Our characters live in the Half Life 2 world and you may recognize some things you associate with Portal but they are on their own path down a unique story line.
