  • Great Tommy Roe fan but yes Derek's version for me.

  • I have this song on the album "Dizzy", which I bought around Christmas 1972. However, I agree that Derek was better. Besides, does Tommy Roe realize the sexual undertones of the song? "Dizzy" is much more like his image. This is more like "Back Door Man"!

  • Yes thank you for posting this Song. Great Song Great Memores.

  • @dreamtime1730- you are very welcome!

  • toss a coin heads derek tails tommy both great versions great listening amen to that.

  • @rockawilliams2- thanks for listening!

  • I prefer the Derek version....Makes you want to dance

  • @Nitro1970

Much as I like Tommy Roe, I also prefer the Derek version.

  • Thanks for all these Tommy Roe uploads. I remember hearing them on my older cousin's 45s when I was a little girl. Ah..the memories.

  • sock it to me!

  • "Oh, I'm coming inside, girl"...

  • Reminds me of a Dancer at that time who used the stage name Cinnamon ( yeah, that song was in the juke box and got played.............a lot!!! ) .

  • Some of the older pix reminds me of Jimmy Clanton

  • I named a red retriever ' Cinnamon' because of this song ... way back when it came out. I am making cinnamon toothpicks tonight and this song just popped in my head... makes me smile to remember songs like these....

  • My kitten is named Cinnamon. I love Tommy Roe. Thanks for the song. :)

  • Oh ;the memories!!!! Thanks Bobbi :) :)

  • totally great song in l967-68

  • I remember this -'Cinnamon -let me in..!'

  • Ron....you are making me remember things......OH YEA!!!! Fun times in high school.

  • nice....

  • I like this version, though I'm more familiar with Derek's version. Weren't they both around '68? 5*****. (Oh, and I hope 'zuseable' didn't have too much of a hangover, lol!!)

  • Very very good. l like it. Give you 5.

  • im sorry but im to drunk to leave you a decent post but it moved me thankes keep on keepen on

  • The piano and horns sound really good on this, and the background singers are a little further into the background than on the Derek (Johnny Cimbal) version. Didn't know it existed until now, but it's definitely a little better.
