Seriously, as much as I've watched battle rap and Bender, this dudes verses astound me. He's lyrically without a doubt number one in battle rap. The only person I would ever put on top of him is Loaded Lux from a lyrical standpoint and complexity.

Regardless of whether or not this decision was legit, I only re-watch this video for Bender's first and second rounds. Even Sketch's third round, which was fire, can't hold a candle to Bender's first.
Benders first obviously was better than Sketches and then in the second Bender called Sketch out for pretty much everything he then proceeded to do. The third is no longer a factor, Bender got the W 2 rounds to 1.
Gotta be honest, huge fan of both these emcees, and first watch I was a bit biased for Bender. But this was my tenth watch, and Sketch Menace (minus the small stumbles) put on an amazing performance. I still score it 2-1 Bender. His first two rounds were fire, but his third, even without the choke, was much weaker. I can understand why Sketch won, especially if it was live. He just built momentum, his punches hit harder and harder. And that may be the strongest finish to a battle I've ever seen.

bender won this clearly, a choke shouldnt be the end of someone chances of winning a battle if the choking mc clearly outclassed the other one (especialy one at the beginning that was as short as benders was) and sketch fumbled multiple times and they together were worse than benders choke and with bender killing him the victory should have been benders. and now bender wont get another title shot for a long time if ever again and he deserved to be the kotd champ for quite a bit longer than this

Seriously, as much as I've watched battle rap and Bender, this dudes verses astound me. He's lyrically without a doubt number one in battle rap. The only person I would ever put on top of him is Loaded Lux from a lyrical standpoint and complexity.

Bender won lyrically in all 3 rounds yes he choked but sketch fumbles in his verse first bar. had at least one more stumble in every round that followed on top of having his strategies, pen game and creativity called into question AND having his hole approach predicted. Bender still won that battle to in the end because who's still more respected and is still getting bigger battles with tougher competition? "that chains only as respected as the mother fuckin man that holds it"

Benders first obviously was better than Sketches and then in the second Bender called Sketch out for pretty much everything he then proceeded to do. The third is no longer a factor, Bender got the W 2 rounds to 1.

Gotta be honest, huge fan of both these emcees, and first watch I was a bit biased for Bender. But this was my tenth watch, and Sketch Menace (minus the small stumbles) put on an amazing performance. I still score it 2-1 Bender. His first two rounds were fire, but his third, even without the choke, was much weaker. I can understand why Sketch won, especially if it was live. He just built momentum, his punches hit harder and harder. And that may be the strongest finish to a battle I've ever seen.
