Thank you! My vacuum is still dead, but I learned something anyway. My wife said while she was using the vacuum it stopped. When she unplugged it she said the plug felt hot. She also said it was picking items up while it was still working. I tore this down to almost nothing, cleaned EVERY part, and it still don't turn on. Any ideas?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! My Kirby has been sitting in the cupboard for 10 years. It stopped working, so at the time we took it to the Kirby service dealer and he told me it would cost $500 to fix it. We bought a Dyson to replace it till we could justify the money to get it fixed. I was just contemplating getting it fixed, when I came across your, "You tube". I followed your instructions and now it is working...Hooray! I can't believe I now have a working Kirby! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
